Great little cottages in a central location. Wendy, her family and employees were awesome and friendly hosts from the moment we arrived until we headed out.

We had an unforgettable stay at this cabin. I surprised my boyfriend with this trip for his birthday. The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect getaway. The amenities were wonderful, especially the jacuzzi tub, which added a special touch to our stay. The surrounding nature was stunning, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. While visiting we also got engaged at Lost Maples Natural Area, making this trip even more memorable. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved every moment and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

The house and property was GREAT! Clean, and home-ly. Jayne was very helpful before and during the visit. I'd be tempted to make my visit a routine; it was such a relaxing atmosphere. Be sure to arrive before sunset!

This house was SO comfortable! Perfect for our large crowd! Lots to do in the backyard! We played a girls against boys volleyball game! Lots of laughs and hanging out around the hot tub! Plenty of sleep space and the HUGE kitchen table and bar made it easy to do meals when we weren’t at the river! Thank you Leah! We appreciate everything!

Adult and kid-friendly place. We had the best time for a short trip. We spent a lot of time at the pool that was right across from our cabin. Cabin was the cutest with a swing in the front yard. Very spacious and comfy with cable! The pool was open all day, very well cleaned, and my boys enjoyed it so very much. Wendy and her family were just the sweetest and recommended some nearby food places. Your next trip to Concan-if you don’t want to swim at the river all day; this is the best spot. The pool was so refreshing, with a beautiful view, we will definitely be coming back!!

Wendy and her husband were great hosts. They were both very responsive and helpful during our stay. The cabin was clean and the location was peaceful. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and our time at the river. We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

We were looking for a little and found this place. From start to finish, Amy was responsive and very attentive to our questions. When we arrived, the”bunkhouse” was more roomy than we expected. Beautiful inside, beautiful surroundings and a beautiful pool area. We had a great time and would stay there again. Thank you Amy for the awesome stay.

Kelly Jo is very friendly and helpful. She made sure our stay was great. This is a nice place to camp with cute rustic cabins and a “cowboy” pool at each cabin that is very nice to sit in and relax on hot summer evenings with a cold beverage. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The cabins are neat and tidy, the beds and pillows are comfortable.

Cielo Frio was a beautiful, peaceful river community with outstanding views of the surrounding hills. Daniel communicated thoroughly and his responses were in good time and very helpful. It was a very pleasant and peaceful stay away from the rush of city life.any thanks!

This was our second stay at Kim's place and we thoroughly enjoyed it. we love the location. It is remote but that's what we like, close enough to town to float the river and eat at a cafe. Great place to get away from the city life.

Very clean and cozy cabin with large beautiful oaks out back. A short walk to a peaceful spot on the river, surrounded by nature. Was the perfect getaway!

Utopia retreat was as advertised, we had a nice stay! It was close to Garner and Lost Maples and we were able to enjoy it with our dog, for a $15 fee. Note: make sure to bring your own soaps for the shower as they aren’t provided.

Would definitely stay here again great pool and river access and the 360 view of rolling hills.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property itself is such a serene and peaceful location, definitely the break we needed from the hustle and bustle of Houston. The interior was wonderful and cozy and Brandy provided all the basic essentials we needed for our stay. Upon arriving we did have trouble connecting to the wifi, but Brandy was extremely responsive and was able to get the issue resolved quickly. We really enjoyed our experience here and loved the closeness to Garner State Park. We would definitely come back to stay here again!!

Donna was amazing!! Very responsive and sweet! Allowed my daughter to sleep in as I was working 🥰 Cabin was clean, beds comfy. Community restroom/showers were clean.

My family and I found Susie's place to be exactly what we needed. We enjoyed our stay immensely and intend to return every summer. The cabin was peaceful, spacious, and spotless, with a conveniently located store within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. The pool was well maintained and ready for us to use.

House was wonderful, it was stocked better my own house! I loved how quiet it was and seeing all the stars at night. We had no issues here and will be coming back for future adventures. If you are worried about the place being clean like I am when I stay anywhere new, this house was SPOTLESS. Would recommend to anyone.

Great place my Wife and I loved it. Not often you will get a chance to stay on a property as beautiful as this one. Not many places like this one for sure. It was a blessing for us and just what we needed. Just like the listing says it’s dark and you can see the stars. Horses came by to visit and brought their friends the cows lol. Going to add it to the once a year trip list for sure.

Our first time to Leakey. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The river was a small walk from our cabin. Loved how peaceful and beautiful the whole farm was. Will definitely be back next year.

Leah was very responsive and her detailed directions helped us out a lot. My friends and I loved the view and loved that it was so secluded. We had a great weekend, it was wonderful to have a large place to accommodate all of us and the fully furnished kitchen allowed us to cook all our meals there. I highly recommend if you’re looking to get away and enjoy a traffic free quiet environment with friends or family!c:

This place was the perfect getaway spot. Although there is a neighbor close by, you can’t see the house from the back porch and it was very private. We loved the outdoor patio and ate every meal out there. The beds were super comfy! Karen was very responsive and happy to help when I reached out for guidance on places to visit. We definitely will be back to this place!
