BREEZE guests may reserve the wood fired cedar hot tub and the sauna, which are close by and private, at an additional charge. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy. There is also a large back yard to play or relax in.

This coastal town is truly a gem, but if you’d like to explore further afield, it’s also an excellent base for day trips to Camden (30 minutes) or Acadia National Park (1.25 hours.) Our geodesic domes sit in on 10 acres of our property . In total come spring farm is 28 acres , you will have access to round pond to kayak , fish or swim. You may also visit the Alpacas , bunnies , pigs , sheep and our new lounge area opening June . The bathroom facilities are private for each dome, no sharing .You will need to walk to bathhouse .
