Beautiful quiet village. house was perfect very well kitted out and immaculate . Just lives on site so was close to had when advice was needed. They were very friendly and gave great advice for places to shop and eat out. Would stay again if going to Normandy Ideal base for seeing all landing beaches fairly close to port of Caen .

Très bon séjour en pleine nature. Monique est très accueillante et nous avons été très touchés par les présents qu'elle nous a offerts : jus de pommes et confiture maison et des bons oeufs frais au retour de notre balade. Nous reviendrons chez elle à coup sûr si nous revenons dans la région

we loved our weeks stay in Ablon. It was an easy 10 minutes drive to Honfleur however we loved the peace and quite of this rural accommodation. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we really enjoyed sitting outside late afternoon in the sunshine watching the horses in the field in front of the house. It was a perfect base to explore the Normandy countryside.

We really enjoyed this place - it was a perfect location for the various thing we wanted to do - convenient for the beaches, great villages for restaurants and easy to reach Bayeux for the museums and Cathedral. We would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Anastasia was the best hostess one can imagine. Varm and friendly but at the same time gave us space. She was easy to communicate with and arranged the most incredible breakfast the two days we were there. Her home is beautiful and was peacefully located close enough to go on excursion to the D-day beaches and other sightseeing in the area. It was perfect for us.

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohl und direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die süßen Tiere (Pferde, Pony, Ziege, Katze, Hund) haben auch dazu beigetragen. Der Pool war hervorragend um Abends noch ein wenig zu entspannen

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, bucolic cabin in Normandy. The space was charming and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It's also perfectly located—just a 20-minute drive to the D-Day beaches, which made exploring the area very easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a historic and scenic region!

Nous avons passé un week-end en famille absolument parfait ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nos hôtes ont été d’une extrême bienveillance tout au long de notre séjour, toujours disponibles et attentionnés. Le cadre est magnifique, calme et ressourçant, idéal pour se retrouver en famille et profiter pleinement. Chaque moment passé ici restera un excellent souvenir. Wir waren nur ein paar Tage in der Unterkunft von Sarah und Harriet. Gut gefallen hat uns das natürliche und gut renovierte Anwesen, der weitläufige und schöne Garten sowie die am Morgen sonnige Terrasse. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche, interessante Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Dafür gab uns Sarah auch eine Sammlung guter Tipps. Wir können diese Unterkunft empfehlen.

This was an amazing stay! Tony was very proactive from the beginning with helpful information and recommendations. The house is nestled in the countryside and would be hard to find were it not for Tony's very clear instructions illustrated with pictures to make sure we found it easily. The location is breathtaking, even in March when spring hadn't quite fruits way there yet. I'd love to return to see the blooms and fruit trees ripening. The surroundings were straight out of a storybook. The interior matched that effect. Rooms held decor featuring bunnies and florals in a true French country style that reminded me of childhood and tales of Peter Rabbit. We frequently saw wild rabbits nibbling the grass outside our windows. It was magical for our children. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more, even a play area with many toys, games and books. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft and warm. There was heat & hot water. Highly recommend!

We voelde ons direct welkom in dit typische Franse verblijf, overal was aangedacht van een Haard die klaar stond om te ontsteken tot een gedekte tafel met een heerlijke chocolade taart! Naast elk bed stond een flesje water met een Madeleine voor de nachtelijke trek. Wel hangen er door heel het huis briefjes met instructies, maar wanneer iemand gewoon normen en waarde kent zijn de reglementen vrij logisch. Misschien een tip om deze regels te bundelen en op de gedekte eettafel te presenteren zodat alles gelijk duidelijk is ipv door heel het huis. Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in dit pittoreske Franse huis.

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Florence’s place during May. There were two families with 3 kids between us but it was never crowded and we loved the fact we could all have dinner together at night on the long tables. The house is in a beautiful peaceful location but still close to Bayeux and Caen. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Die Ferienwohnung von Fabienne war absolut perfekt – sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Fabienne ist eine äußerst herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, die jederzeit für Fragen oder Anliegen erreichbar war. Die Lage der Unterkunft war ideal, um die Umgebung zu erkunden, und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Wohnung wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Nous avons passé un superbe weekend prolongé en famille dans cette magnifique maison normande typique. Un environnement magnifique, très bel extérieur et très belle vue depuis le jardin avec seulement le voisinage des vaches. Idéal pour les familles. Très propre et bien équipé. Anne a été adorable et nous a bien conseillés sur les activités alentours pour les enfants. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
