Casey is an amazingly good business man! He was extremely communicative, professional, friendly, empathetic and responsive. Literally the ideal host. The location is wildly perfect for a recharging getaway that’s near strip malls. The home is very close to Ventura Rd. and near freeways so relatively quickly to get to destinations. Inside the home, the view over the city is spectacular. The place was roomy and relaxing. There is great space for entertaining and hanging with family. Casey made the stay nice. Would certainly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in LA.

You could not ask for a nicer host and a better location in Malibu. We needed a dog friendly place to stay and the options were limited. Lucky for us Rochelle had the nicest little place for our stay. Don't miss the breakfast burritos at Country Kitchen or dinner at Dukes just a two minute walk away. The house was well appointed and decorated nicely. The beds comfy and towels soft. But best of all was Rochelle's responsiveness. We had a few things come up during our stay and Rochelle helped us out so much (from a spare chair to host a little dinner to the mistake of hitting the jets on the tub and not knowing what the noise could be). Highly recommend! Enjoy your stay.

My husband likes to say..."wow, that's why Michael is a 'super host'"! This home is what every air bnb consumer hopes for. It actually exceeds your expectation. He has thought of everything and more. Every detail is covered, everything you need is there. The home is immaculate and so are all the appointments, home appliances and gardens. There is a wonderful patio and barbeque too. I remember saying 'pride in ownership'. We had a different circumstance coming here in that we were displaced by the California Wild Fires. We found the comfort of our home here and the comfort of our hosts, who care. We had hardly anything when we got there and Michael and his wonder partner provided for, and had already thought of everything. We were fortunate this home was available when we needed it. As far as travel, if you are a tourist, I personally needed to get around, to our former home, and to work. The freeway is close by as are many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!

Matthew is an amazing host. He responds quickly and is always willing to help. The unit is nicely decorated with a an entry level bedroom w/bunk beds and 1/2 bath and a main level with living room, kitchen and bedroom with a full bath. There is a nice back yard deck overlooking a sea of Oak Trees. The unit is not large, but was fine for two of us and our dog. The only drawback was the home is on a narrow street with no sidewalks which made walking the dog a bit difficult. There was a great park just a 3 minute drive that our dog loved. While the backyard if fenced, there is no grass. The bulk of the back is taken up with a very steep slope.

Rick’s place is in a quiet, secluded, location on top of a hill. Roads were clear and navigation systems had no problem finding it, even when it gets dark outside. One thing to note is that there are no window treatments, apart from the two windows next to the front door. This could be a potential issue for groups of friends or mixed gender stays, as you can see into the shower from the main balcony. Other than that, the place is a fantastic retreat.

This was my second time staying with Julie and me and my girlfriend loved it just as much as we did the first time. So peaceful and private and Julie is a great host. I appreciate her for hosting us again. Thank you!

Irina was an excellent host and the Airbnb was perfect. The bed and linens was incredibly comfortable. The air conditioner gets as cold as you want it to. The neighborhood is very peaceful, esp in the mornings. In the hills, it's a perfect place to walk around, and the neighbors were friendly. Irina as a host was super responsive and accommodating. Checking in was a breeze and she also helped us with a few requested that weren't listed. The Internet was also very fast. Solid solid spot for the $$

Our family of five had a comfortable and fun stay at Stephen’s place . Great neighborhood and it was a calm oasis- the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing! The pool was great and the views spectacular. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen meant we had everything we could need.

Desi’s guest house was the perfect place for a couple’s getaway. It was very clean and cozy, from the comfy bed to the extra hot shower it had everything we needed. The location is a quick 2 minute drive to the beach and 10 to 15 minutes to lots of fun dining and hiking options. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying our morning coffees while listening to the birds sing. Soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day was a real treat! Desi was a great host, quickly responding to any question that we had. We hope to return again soon!

Host was very communicative but not invasive. Felt right at home and has everything you would need, like staying at a friend’s house. Beds were great. Loved the front deck - so peaceful with comfortable furniture, lush greenery, and great view. Spent most of our time out there. One caveat, to get the great views in the middle of the city, you have to climb. We did not have a problem with it and we are not particularly young or super fit, but if you struggle with stairs at all, definitely not the place for you. And keep in mind that anything you bring (luggage, groceries, etc) will need to be taken up a single narrow staircase (roughly the height of 1.5 floors) so maybe not a good choice if you don’t travel light. We would stay again.

Cozy and comfortable cottage with a 5 min walk to The Old Place restaurant. Very clean with an extensive tea selection! Geraldine was fast to respond and a great host!

Our stay at this Malibu Airbnb was absolutely perfect. Nestled in the serene hills, the property offered stunning views, fresh air, and a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere. It was the ideal escape from the city—quiet, private, and surrounded by natural beauty. The location was great: just a short drive to Malibu’s wineries, and local restaurants. We felt close to everything, yet far enough to truly unwind. Our host was amazing—responsive, welcoming, and respectful of our privacy.   If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat in Malibu, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return!

This was a 10/10 stay. The cottage was absolutely magical and Ronald and Elle were very flexible, communicative and thoughtful. The cottage is bright, cozy and the perfect place to stay. Fresh flowers and lemons as well as water and some toast for breakfast. :) Definitely book your stay here if you are in the area! Would come back for sure.

Absolutely beautiful Airbnb with breathtaking views. Make sure you bring everything you need because it’s quite a drive to the bottom of the mountain. I also get queasy easily, so something to be mindful of on the drive. But WOW is it worth it! The Airbnb is so cozy, beautiful and comfortable. The internet was a little spotty for us but that’s okay, we were there to connect with nature and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Watching the sunset while in the bathtub was incredible. My wife and I came here for some R&R while undergoing cancer treatment and it was just what we needed. We saw so many beautiful birds, a coyote, bunnies and of course the friendly cats! I would absolutely love to stay here again! Thank you Angie and Martin!

I had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated—exactly like the photos, if not better. Every little detail was taken care of, and it made me feel right at home. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to everything I needed. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s one of those places you wish you could stay longer. This is one of the best houses I've stayed in over the years. It's located in a tranquil and secluded valley, exceptionally clean and bright. The arrangement of all the items reflects the host's elegance and thoughtfulness. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are warm and cozy, and the bathroom is simple yet tidy—meeting all needs without any clutter。AJ responded very promptly and kindly adjusted the check-in time to accommodate my early arrival—such a thoughtful host. I was delighted to spend a few wonderful and peaceful days here. The nearby trails are perfect for walking or cycling, and the central area is just about a ten-minute drive away, making it very convenient.
