Absolutely loved staying here may bank holiday weekend. Location was stunning, safari tent was great fun. Definitely pack ear plugs as can get a little windy on the night. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Fantastic stay, would definitely recommend if you’re ever in Cardiff. Location was spot on, only a 15 minute walk into central. The hot tub was also a lovely touch! 10/10 would recommend

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

What a lovely little country retreat, peaceful and restful yet with plenty to do on your doorstep. The walk to the country pub, through the village was a highlight. The kids loved the horses, rope swing and of course jacuzzi. We will definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and tidy and Clare went above and beyond with complimentary cake and fizz on arrival. Clare was very responsive when we had questions about the area. The house felt like a home, and it was great to be able to make the most of the spa pool after a day out. We would definitely book again.

This was our third stay at the lovely barn and I’m sure we will be back in future. Lots of character, beautiful, peaceful surroundings with a few pubs within a couple of miles walk. Diana was a great host as ever, overall another very enjoyable stay.

Lovely quirky place , homely , Charlotte was very accommodating as we needed late check out and we had 2 dogs, would definitely recommend if you need a base for going in and out of the city

I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

Robert was welcoming and gave us some Welsh cakes on arrival. Will visit again if in the area for a weekend break. thanks again James & Charlotte and the dachshunds

saddlery cottage was a beautiful place to stay, lovely peaceful surroundings and very homely comfortable cottage. Sally was a great host and gave us lots of helpful information on the surrounding area and things to do and see. My family had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it, we will definitely stay again

What a little gem this place is. one of the best resourced places ever 😁😁😁.spacious and well thought through with very comfortable beds and social spaces. Helen couldn't have been more responsive and kind....and we had a really lovely stay in the accommodation. Village is peaceful and close vicinity to amazing scenery and local walks....top place! Highly recommended....just make sure there is availyfor us to come back 🤣 xxx

Our family had a wonderful stay at Cliffs! He and Emma were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We appreciated all the rooms and bathrooms in each room. Our little one loved the horses across the street and we loved being able to walk to the local pub. Cliff made check out a breeze and gave us some great recommendations for our continued travels. This is a great spot for big families or a group traveling together! We would definitely recommend to friends and family traveling in the area.

Great little flat in the centre of Cardiff, situated right between the bay and old town- walkable to both. Spotlessly clean and well stocked. Was a great stay - would recommend. Communication with host was great. Parking space was easy to access too.

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for about a month and a half. We had an amazing experience. Jessica is an Amazing host, responsive, friendly and attentive to any need. While you do need a car to get to the place and move around, the location felt perfect for us, quiet, calm, peaceful, and beautiful with all the nature around it. The house had all we needed it for our long stay, we were able to work from there, internet connection is good, cook from the house, all needed appliances are provided, and we got to do many fun day trips around the area. Lots to see and visit! Abergavenny is just a 10 min drive and they had a large supermarket for groceries and many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

Apartment was exactly as it was shown and described. Fantastic view and position perfect for us. Walk into the city along the river was pleasant and easy, likewise the bridge over to the lovely restaurants etc in the Bay. We will definitely book this apartment again when visiting Cardiff. Daniel’s place is lovely - charming with lots of interesting features, and plenty of space for a large group of 19 of us. The kitchen is well equipped, living areas are spacious, and there are plenty of bathrooms. Everything was very clean and tidy, but it didn’t feel clinical or bland like a lot of AirBnBs - it still feels very much like a house that is lived in, which is great. There’s a good parking space out the back, however bear in mind that the access road is narrow and the corner is tight - the parking space itself can accommodate 3-4 small cars but it takes a bit of manoeuvring to get them in!

I can only echo what everyone else has said in their reviews about this wonderful spot! Gill was welcoming and responsive, hosting out of a beautiful home that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, with Abergavenny, Usk, Raglan, Monmouth and the Brecon Beacons amongst other places of interest within reasonable driving distance. Upon arriving there was an exquisite, freshly-baked lemon drizzle cake set to one side (the recipe since offered and eagerly accepted!), with some eggs, butter and milk set to one side too which came in very handy. There are lovely spaces in the gardens in which to relax and dine, and if you're lucky enough you might meet furry friends Poppy, Corky & Bertie - at one stage I thought I would be playing fetch with Bertie all night! Ideal place for us to stay for a family event - there were a number of us staying in the area, some from Australia and New Zealand as well as from Norfolk and Wales. Whilst quirky and a bit unusual it worked well for family to visit and for us to gather around and relax together. Everything we needed was provided and the space worked well. The views are spectacular and worth the challenging drive up. The track is a bit bumpy but manageable - great spot and we could imagine how amazing it would be in the summer. Thank you for letting us stay in your very unique property!
