Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Caen

We loved this peaceful haven, the pool and the jacuzzi are a real plus despite the proximity to the sea, we will come back to one of the other cottages in the estate as a family, that's for sure!

The apartment is very comfortable and very well located close to the sea. The residence is very quiet. You can park easily in the street. Nathalie is very welcoming.

Axel’s place was in a great location for people looking to be within walking distance of great restaurants and nice shops and bakeries. It had a good amount of space for a family. He was a great host. Very helpful and responsive. Although there is no designated parking, we were able to find street parking within a reasonable walking distance.

It went very well. The apartment was perfectly clean, well-equipped and as described. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The host was responsive and their instructions were clear and precise. I highly recommend this listing! Thanks for your hospitality. 😉

Thanks to Arthur for his availability and the cleanliness of his apartment. The residence is quiet. The apartment is located in front of the start of the Marathon des Courants de Liberté, which is ideal.

Very nice rental, clean and well decorated, with very pleasant and well maintained exteriors. Very good communication with Hélène and Frédéric who are very responsive. We had a lovely weekend, thank you!

The host was very accommodating and responsive to our arrival times. We really enjoyed the madeleines and the complimentary tea and coffee. This was a perfect place for the night before an early morning ferry. Only thing we noticed was a few not properly cleaned dishes.

The accommodation is very well located (ground floor) and you have everything you need inside with a small + its small open terrace. Nothing to say... Otherwise Thérèse and Daniel are very responsive for any additional information.

Nice apartment, location is ideal, on the 2nd floor with no lift. It was a different appartement from the photos (looks like they have 4) but we’ll equiped and similar. It a quiet location very central and was clean

We visited from the US and were taken back by the beauty of this little gem. The house is beautiful, peaceful, quiet and so charming. It is very secluded so beware, without a car you are stuck “in the middle of nowhere”. We had a friend driving us around so that made it just a place to sleep. She left us breakfast outside our door in the morning which was eggs, yogurt, a baguette and a couple of croissants. The hosts are SO kind and helpful and speak decent English to help make your stay great.

Great place. Very clean. In a good location with a convenience store very close by. Lots of restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. Madalen was very friendly and helpful. Overall, very good value for money.

Brigitte's home is lovely. We are a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 teenagers celebrating a special birthday and anniversary. The house was perfect for us. The location was peaceful with open views of fields from the garden. The pool was amazing, we all enjoyed fun times in there. The Sauna was very much appreciated after the activities in the pool. We also enjoyed the Football and Table Tennis and the bikes. We biked to Merville where there are a few shops including a bakery. We also enjoyed a bike ride to Pegagus Bridge and The Battery at Merville. The house is perfectly located for D Day beaches and other historical sites. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved cooking on the BBQ. It was lovely meeting Verione who was waiting to greet us at the house. We all had a fantastic holiday. Thank you. Anne

Great stay! House was just as described and in the perfect location it was very secure with gated access. Nelly is a fantastic host, very quick to respond to messages and greeted us on arrival to show us around. Nice touch to include some DVDs, we had a few evenings watching the classic war films provided. Rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook any meal! 5 mins walk to the beach/town which has a safe atmosphere, great bakery for morning croissants Clair de Lune (5 Bd Gilbert Longuet) and very friendly pub The Mary Celeste (5 Rue Colonel René Michel) for an evening drink. Ideal location to visit the Normandy D-Day beaches and museum due to it central location on Gold Beach all others are less than an hour’s drive (Juno Beach 20 mins, Omaha 30mins, Sword Beach 40 mins, Utah 50 mins) and the lovely town of Bayeux only 15 mins away, where there is a large supermarket and the famous tapestry.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very comfortable and well-decorated. Finally, the house is well located, very central to shine in the different villages.

Awesome stay in this cute house! So so clean with lovely linens. Great kitchen set up- we loved the juicer for orange pressé! Amazing having the gym and used badminton rackets for some evening fun. Really easy to get to a little town for bread and croissants, vegetables and even a mini market. We visited Bayeux, Deauville and Honfleur really easily and it was lovely to come out of the towns and back to this house! Thank you- we loved it!!

We had a lovely stay. There were 5 of us and the house is very convenient and pleasant. The amenities are of very good quality. Special mention for the bed mattress because I have a very fragile back and it had been a long time since I slept so well! Paul Edouard is very responsive and gives good advice on the surroundings. What a joy to park your car and go quietly to the beach on foot from the accommodation. The village is very nice. In short, I recommend this accommodation.

The reserved accommodation was in all respects in line with our expectations for a family weekend; everything available for cooking, independence of everyone, comfortable rooms, close to everything; shops, restaurants and beach. The gym was a real treat for young and old (especially the foosball). The highlight is an absolutely adorable, thoughtful and available host for all our requests. We really felt at home!! Thank you for everything. We highly recommend this address and are, of course, ready to return!
