Brian and Jeanette are the perfect hosts. If you want to be surrounded by nature and beautiful countryside this is a wonderful spot. The location is great, close to the coast and many interesting towns and villages. The local bar tabac is definitely worth a stop for a beer or coffee. There is plenty to explore but if you just want to relax then hanging out at Apple Tree Gites is a great option. We will be back.

Perfect stay in a beautiful rural part of France. All D-day and other historical events within easy driving distance with Bayeux 10 mins away for meals and shopping. Recommend you use a bike to explore the local areas.

A cottage of great beauty with technology (Tv, internet, jacuzzi) and rusticity (fireplace, half-timbering, nature)! A peaceful and warm place. Available and very pleasant staff, from check-in to departure. This is a place that we recommend without hesitation, and where we will be very happy to come back!

What a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing place to spend a few days! The quality of this house cannot be overstated. The fit and finish of the home is higher quality than any other rental that I have stayed in. Oak doors and windows, custom made mirrors and tables, and high end appliances adorn the building. The hosts are the nicest people we met during our trip, happy to help and advise but giving us adequate space and privacy. As an added bonus, we met some nice French people and some nice Americans who rented the neighboring house. Thanks for the hospitality, friends.

A wonderful house in magnificent surroundings. Will was a great host, very proactive, responsive and has thought of everything. The house was spotless, comfortable and a super base for trips throughout Normandy. The downstairs suite and living areas in particular are very thoughtfully laid out for anyone with mobility issues, which we really appreciated, and the kitchen is heavily equipped with pots & pans and multiple coffee-making methods. The local village with a decent bakery is walkable too. We had a lovely trip, really enjoyed the beautiful estate, and would very happily go back.

Beautiful house in a peaceful environment. The interior is well appointed and decorated with taste. The kitchen is functional and well equipped, the sleeping arrangements are comfortable. The super nice outside (bonus for the fire pit that allowed us to spend a nice evening in early May outside). Great for 8 adults who want to explore the area!

Barbara is incredibly kind and very accommodating to special requests. I really appreciated that she called me directly, whereas at the beginning her apartment was managed by a concierge, who had finally left me without an answer. My family and I had a pleasant stay in this guest house, very cute and very well located.

The house is super nice and Noelle and Gerard are super lovely hosts! We felt very comfortable. However, you should arrive by car :) When we arrived there was everything you needed in the kitchen and the fire was already on 😊 we would definitely come back!

A peaceful haven 7 minutes' walk from the city center. The house is well-equipped and the private garden is very pleasant for meals.

La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

Fabienne's apartment was absolutely perfect – clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Fabienne is an extremely warm and courteous host who was always available for questions or concerns. The location of the accommodation was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and we felt completely comfortable. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful cottage. Pics very accurate. Would come again. Only bad thing is WiFi very weak. 1mb. So barely supported email. If you have work or are addicted to your phone and social media you will have a problem.

We were happy with the place. It was all very clean and quiet. Unfortunately, contrary to the description, there was no baby bed. Otherwise, it would still be important to know that if you bring your own bed linen, the French size (240x220 cm) is required. Unfortunately, we did not consider this - it is also not specified.

Amazing spot to unwind from the big wide world, two hounds loved it with great walks in mature woods on your door step, with beautiful surrounding country side. Everyone we met or interacted with was friendly and very helpful. Great local produce to be had so go find it as you will not be disappointed. Would not and will not hesitate to highly recommend and book again....

This was an amazing stay! Tony was very proactive from the beginning with helpful information and recommendations. The house is nestled in the countryside and would be hard to find were it not for Tony's very clear instructions illustrated with pictures to make sure we found it easily. The location is breathtaking, even in March when spring hadn't quite fruits way there yet. I'd love to return to see the blooms and fruit trees ripening. The surroundings were straight out of a storybook. The interior matched that effect. Rooms held decor featuring bunnies and florals in a true French country style that reminded me of childhood and tales of Peter Rabbit. We frequently saw wild rabbits nibbling the grass outside our windows. It was magical for our children. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more, even a play area with many toys, games and books. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft and warm. There was heat & hot water. Highly recommend!

what a wonderful house, cozy room and kitchen, spacious bedrooms, lots of storage possibilities. All facilities are present and usable. Privacy. A great beautiful garden, well maintained and a beautiful view. The swimming pool was wonderful, good temperature so also to use in less weather. Taco is a super host. friendly, and invisibly present to clean the pool and remove the trash bags. good communication. The sights and towns are accessible by car. It's a bit of a drive. We had a very nice and relaxed stay. Taco, thank you very much!

Great weekend, very relaxing. The house is actually smaller than in the photo but we were very satisfied and the garden was super nice. It has everything you need for a great stay!

Excellent private & gated location. Great if you are interested in any D Day or WW2 locations. Quiet, 2 bdrm cottage style listing surrounded in lovely gardens. Full kitchen, dining rm, sm sun room, bathroom with shower. 2 bdrms and w/c upstairs overlooking rms below. Fireplace. Space for children to play outside. Our host Lilliane was wonderful.

Very cute cottage located in a quiet and green area. Peaceful place that invites you to disconnect, while allowing you to easily travel to discover the region. The accommodation is very well equipped. Very pleasant and responsive hosts. 🍎

Marie simply and very kindly welcomed us and was responsive when we needed to contact her. This cottage and its garden are in a very beautiful environment, very quiet. We had a great Easter holiday with the family.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay - first of all really friendly and responsive communication from Susan and Ian regarding arrival time, so thank you to them! The cottage is beautiful - both me and my partner agreed the photos don’t do it justice! Very reasonable price for such a lovely place, only downside is the hour long drive to D-Day beaches, but the stunning surroundings certainly make up for it! Would recommend to anyone and definitely come back! :)
