Perfect stay in a beautiful rural part of France. All D-day and other historical events within easy driving distance with Bayeux 10 mins away for meals and shopping. Recommend you use a bike to explore the local areas.

What a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing place to spend a few days! The quality of this house cannot be overstated. The fit and finish of the home is higher quality than any other rental that I have stayed in. Oak doors and windows, custom made mirrors and tables, and high end appliances adorn the building. The hosts are the nicest people we met during our trip, happy to help and advise but giving us adequate space and privacy. As an added bonus, we met some nice French people and some nice Americans who rented the neighboring house. Thanks for the hospitality, friends.

A wonderful house in magnificent surroundings. Will was a great host, very proactive, responsive and has thought of everything. The house was spotless, comfortable and a super base for trips throughout Normandy. The downstairs suite and living areas in particular are very thoughtfully laid out for anyone with mobility issues, which we really appreciated, and the kitchen is heavily equipped with pots & pans and multiple coffee-making methods. The local village with a decent bakery is walkable too. We had a lovely trip, really enjoyed the beautiful estate, and would very happily go back.

Barbara is incredibly kind and very accommodating to special requests. I really appreciated that she called me directly, whereas at the beginning her apartment was managed by a concierge, who had finally left me without an answer. My family and I had a pleasant stay in this guest house, very cute and very well located.

A peaceful haven 7 minutes' walk from the city center. The house is well-equipped and the private garden is very pleasant for meals.

A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

Amazing spot to unwind from the big wide world, two hounds loved it with great walks in mature woods on your door step, with beautiful surrounding country side. Everyone we met or interacted with was friendly and very helpful. Great local produce to be had so go find it as you will not be disappointed. Would not and will not hesitate to highly recommend and book again....

Lydie is wonderful host. She is super helpful, supportive and responds quickly. We are very grateful for their hospitality. The apartment is as described and was fantastically large for us, 2 people and 1 dog, especially with the private garden. The proximity to Honfleur is ideal for evening walks and to discover good restaurants. A great area with many highlights to discover and cider to try.

In Colleville sur Mer there is: its beach, its history and ... the farm of the LOUCEL! Very nice welcome from Laurence, I discovered a pleasant, comfortable, very well-equipped cottage and above all very, very quiet. Also, I highly recommend this beautiful address which, in addition, is ideally placed to discover the sites and beaches of the landing, to visit the cathedral and the medieval city of Bayeux and many other walks. Thanks to Laurence for your hospitality and for this Normandy getaway.

We thoroughly loved our stay at Valentin and Nathalie’s place. Good service is always rooted in a sense of abundance—not necessarily material, but often in the form of attention. Le Petit Fournil has it all: a warm check-in call, thoughtful accommodations, an impeccably clean space, and even a fireplace already prepared—with bark and kindling neatly arranged. I can only imagine how frustrated we, city-dwellers rooted in cement, would have been if we’d had to figure that out ourselves! A word on the decoration—each little corner has its own character, yet everything fits together beautifully. Much like how a chef uses the same seasoning as we do, yet has the mastery to portion it just right and turn it into a distinctive dish, the space reflects a rare sense of harmony and intentionality. Cabourg beach is under an hour away, and if your child has endless energy, both La BDL Base de Loisirs and Écouves Animal Park are within 30 minutes.

Excellent place to stay, one of the best places to stay if you are visiting the beaches, only a few minutes walk to the port with loads of restaurants to choose from, bars in the port very friendly, beds comfortable, nice big easy to use shower, wouldn’t hesitate returning

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, has all the amenities and is located in the countryside, quiet. Catherine welcomed us with a delicious Maidon apple juice. Thank you very much. We'll come back if we go back to Normandy Switzerland.

It was delightful to stay at this wonderful accommodation. It was bright, comfortable and very well designed. The conversion of this beautiful old building has been done with the most attractive materials and high-quality craftsmanship. Great weekend, very relaxing. The house is actually smaller than in the photo but we were very satisfied and the garden was super nice. It has everything you need for a great stay!

What a pearl on our journey. Caroline and Sarah are offering a well equipped house in an charming area of the Normandy. Stick to their recommendations and you get a wonderful glance at the region and you feel to get friends - they are lovely, arty people loving their site. We where impressed.
