Holiday rentals with a patio in Buxton

Right from the start Craig was very pro-active in messaging and ensuring I was comfortable about where I was going and how to access it. The location is remarkable as it's within a few minute's walk of Nottingham city centre and yet it feels like a quiet suburb - all I could hear most of the time was birdsong. The downside is that being city centre you have to navigate city-centre traffic to reach it if driving but given it's proximity to the railway station that may not be an issue. The onsite parking with the parking permit was a real advantage. The apartment itself is exactly as described and is very homely. Craig has provided a number of 'extras' that are unusual in a property like this such as Sky TV and a coffee machine and it felt generous. All in all I'd very happily recommend Craig's place to anyone who wanted easy access to Nottingham city centre but also wants peace and quiet.

Comfy, clean and peaceful. Great 1 night stay for a nearby family celebration. Jules kept in touch beforehandand we appreciated the stress-free stay. Great coffee too, and thoughtful provsion of bread, butter and milk meant we had breakfast before leaving. Many thanks!

Just had an amazing three night stay in The Loft. Easy check in with great communication. Place was spotless and so peaceful. Walks right from the doorstep which was perfect for us and the Manifold Inn an easy 20min walk on quiet country lane. Food was delicious. Highly recommend a stay here and would love to return. Keep up the good work. :)

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. The beds and sofa's were very comfortable and Phillip was a lovely host. The location was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here with a nearly 1 year old and it was great! We were able to borrow most things we needed although Laura kindly offered to help us if we couldn’t source anything baby related. Really well kitted out and all completely as described. Amazing location in a lovely quiet area yet close to the buzz of West Didsbury. Laura and Jonny were so accommodating. A lovely stay.

What can I say? Lesley (and Simon) is the perfect host! She's an absolutely lovely person who I couldn't have better things to say about. The arrival instructions were clear and helpful, the location is nice and peaceful. The accomodation is exactly as it looks and is as described. Lesley and her accomodation were both so great that I booked the second week of my stay here, too. She couldn't do more to be a better host. Incredibly kind and friendly. It's a shame I can't take her back home and keep her and Simon as my new neighbours. Plus, added bonus - Gertie the Sausage dog may be seen if you're extra lucky. I will absolutely be booking this place again every time I'm working on/around the area. Thanks for everything!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, very clean and comfortable cottage. It was very modern, well equipped and felt very homely. Ash's communication was exceptional from the get go, providing us with all the information we needed. We cooked 2 meals there and went to the pub next door for our 3rd meal, where the staff were very friendly and the food was of a good standard. After a short drive, we were able to go on some amazing walks in the region. The countryside is quite spectacular and we were pleasantly surprised not to be charged for parking anywhere we went. Next time we go back we will definitely go to the peak of the 'Cheshire Matterhorn' (Shutlingsloe).

We had a great stay in Tideswell. The cottage is cosy and extremely comfortable. The little garden out the back was great to sit out in in good weather and to have somewhere for our dogs to runaround outside without having to leave the cottage.

Peaceful and private home located behind a security gate with private parking and beside the fields at the start of a public footpath, ideal for dog walking and a great location to plan your hikes in the peak district.

Myself, my partner and our dog had a wonderful few days at Bridgefoot cottage, the photos don't do it justice is is bigger than it looks and so cosy. the garden is such a gem our dog loved it, fully enclosed and the hot tub was perfect after a long walk in the morning. Cottage itself was pristine, full of character and had everything we needed so we didn't need to contact the host for anything additional but I'm sure he would have been quick to help if we needed it. We cooked most nights but did order from the Indian (menu in the welcome book) which was a lovely change, we also walked into Calver and had some cake from the cafe there next to the Spar shop which was delicious. Great location with lots of beautiful walks nearby, one starting over the bridge and another if you turn left out of the cottage and continue down the lane you will pass through sheep fields and find yourself at Froggat woods. It truly felt like a home away from home and we would love to return in the future

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Yoga Studio, Kat was extremely helpful and communicative, and the studio itself is wonderful. Not just the ping pong table, but quirky features like the rings, swing and aerial silks make this place unique. Being music lovers the piano and incredible sound system suited us perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kat’s place, and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in the Area. Thank you :)

We’ve had a lovely two night break at North Cottage, the place is amazing, spotless, has everything you need and a great location. We did a local walk of around 10 miles that took us around the area and into Poynton which has a nice high street and a few places to eat, I would highly recommend taking a walk around the gardens as there is lots to see!! We will be rebooking to come back again!

Pigeon Loft Cottage was just as described, a very cute and cosy home away from home. The cottage was very easy to find following Susie’s directions and there is ample parking at the property as well as around the area. The check in was delayed by an hour or so due to us booking an extra night but Susie was extremely apologetic and did her best to get the cottage ready as quick as she could and allowed us to leave our shopping in the fridge during. Although she was trying to get it ready quickly, the cottage was still very clean and tidy when we did check in. The rest of the trip was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay :)

Our stay at the Annexe was exactly what we had hoped for. A picturesque cottage in countryside. A place to stay whilst we attended a wedding. Alison and Neil were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely welcome card and hamper, a nice touch to our short stay. We would definitely stay here again!

An absolute gem! Highly recommend. We were a party of 2 families (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 13-17). This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious, clean, a great location and even better than the photos. A well equipped kitchen, lots of board games to keep us entertained in the evening, and lots of bathrooms. Kiran is a great host. Very responsive and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here! It was a beautiful little summer house, lovely and clean. The hosts were extremely helpful, kind and gave us our space. Really recommend to anyone who’s staying in Manchester for a couple days.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Jermaine has a beautiful apartment which was spotlessly clean, super comfy beds, bathroom with a fantastic shower and the kitchen had everything you could need. Out and about there are some great bars and restaurants with a vibrant atmosphere, and as we were at Bramall Lane for a gig this is within a 30 minute walk. There is also private parking which is an added bonus. Jermaine was a fantastic host with great communication and was available if required - though we didn't need to contact him. Cannot recommend highly enough Jermaine's apartment.

This is a beautiful and perfectly laid out annexe apartment. Super clean and decorated/fitted to a high standard. Loved the extras such as the coffee machine and pods, and a very kind welcome treat! Paul and Rosie are quick to respond and both have a friendly manner. The annexe is attached to the family home, but I did not hear a thing from anyone else once inside. It was very helpful to have a car space provided on the driveway. Thank you for great hosting.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was clean, cosy and very nicely furnished. Great location in Leek with easy on-street parking and great access to the peaks! Sarah and Nick were lovely hosts - we greatly appreciated the welcome note and supplies!

We loved our stay at The Vault. Tastefully furnished, this was very much our style. Comfy bed and pillows and a lot of thought had gone into everything you might need. Spoilt for choice on places to eat and drink in the surrounding area and with parking on the premises we didn’t use the car at all. Handy tram stop around the corner into Manchester. Lovely area to stay if you don’t want the hustle and bustle of the city. Rob provides a handy guide book for everything you need to know. Would definitely stay again when visiting Manchester.
