Lovely cosy house which was clean and tidy. This was our second stay at Homestead and we will be coming back.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

This is a beautiful let to stay at, The pool is magnificent and the house is top class. Loads of hidden features all around and a ginormous TV! Great hosts & Lovely plot & local area. Highly recommend Bears Paw for food just 5 mins away. Thank you, We would love to come back

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Ash hosted myself and my Groomsmen the night before my wedding. The location was perfect (right next door to the venue), the house was beautiful and very homely! The scenery was outstanding and a very relaxing outside setting. Ash was an amazing host and went the extra mile to provide as much convenience as possible. I fully recommend anyone to stay here. A beautifully designed house! Even better than the pictures and perfectly located. Tasteful decor and well equipped home meant this was a perfect stay for our birthday weekend away! We’d happily come and stay again!

We've just spent a lovely week at this property in Hayfield. It was a great accommodation and perfectly matched our needs for our first ever visit to the Peak District. The local area and walks are stunning and varied in nature, everything from flat (dismantled railways) to the challenge of Kinder Scout. We spent hours walking and exploring but it was always a pleasure to return home at the end of a long day for a hot shower and comfortable surroundings. The excellent communication and simple check in/out made for a stress free stay. The house is well equipped and there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen but we didn't actually use them very much as eating out in the village pubs and restaurants was our preference after a long day in the hills. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return in the future.

Myself, my partner and our dog had a wonderful few days at Bridgefoot cottage, the photos don't do it justice is is bigger than it looks and so cosy. the garden is such a gem our dog loved it, fully enclosed and the hot tub was perfect after a long walk in the morning. Cottage itself was pristine, full of character and had everything we needed so we didn't need to contact the host for anything additional but I'm sure he would have been quick to help if we needed it. We cooked most nights but did order from the Indian (menu in the welcome book) which was a lovely change, we also walked into Calver and had some cake from the cafe there next to the Spar shop which was delicious. Great location with lots of beautiful walks nearby, one starting over the bridge and another if you turn left out of the cottage and continue down the lane you will pass through sheep fields and find yourself at Froggat woods. It truly felt like a home away from home and we would love to return in the future

Exactly what we needed - a quiet bolt hole in which to relax after the long journey to/from Manchester and the south. This meant that our dog was welcome too! Lovely grounds. Super clean and comfortable cottage with thoughtful touches so that you could relax immediately.

The Old Stables in Buxton is an fantastic location for large families or groups centrally located in the beautiful town of Buxton. The property had more than enough space for us all and was spotlessly clean. The host Sue, made sure checking in and out went as smoothly as possible and responded to messages swiftly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay In Buxton and would definitely stay at the Old Stables again.

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Great cottage, perfectly placed to walk into the centre of Buxton and jump on the road to some of the best Peak District walks. Ideal for the 4 of us, comfortable space with everything we needed for a weekend away from the big city. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Peak District bolt hole!

The house was perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable with the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Our young grandchildren, enjoyed the games and books provided. We loved the house and area and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Slight issue accessing the property but Nell got it sorted ASAP for us so no harm done. Place is exactly as described and what we expected and in walking distance of the typical Buxton sights. Parking was also easy enough to sort and the guidance from Nell on this was really useful.

We had a brilliant short stay at Chert Cottage. The property is immaculately clean, spacious, private, and in a fantastic location to explore the peak district. The cottage had great amenities, and everything you would need for a short or longer stay. Sarah was a great host, providing clear communications on check-in and useful information on the local area and things to do, whilst also leaving a lovely welcome pack (with cake!!) for our arrival. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a very comfortable four night stay. The home was nicely decorated and well equipped. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary essential equipment. The lounge was comfortable and cosy with plenty of board games to provide entertainment. The bedrooms were nicely made with comfortable beds. Finally, the bathrooms were all very clean and tidy on arrival. The house is in a nice location with plenty of shops and amenities near by. Some of the main sites in Buxton are also only a 10 minute walk away. The house is on a B-Road so the front facing bedrooms tend to receive some noise, but this is obviously offset with all the positives mentioned above. James and Bethan were also very lovely, accommodating hosts. They were very responsive and helpful. They helped work through some teething problems on our arrival and followed up to ensure all was okay in the end. Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Peak District with a large group.

Great week in Buxton and in particular Mark’s place. From the outset Mark provided clear information which was really useful. The house was just as described, if anything actually felt bigger than the pictures. Modern, clean and easy to find. Close to the shops, bars, restaurants and the Pavilion Gardens. The giant TV upstairs was great on the day it rained with Sky Glass which was a real bonus. The outdoor terrace was lovely to spend some time relaxing. Sofas and beds were comfortable. The house was nicely decorated and felt very much a home. Definitely recommend anyone to stay and if I’m in the area again this would be my first choice.

Excellent place to stay, it was a lovely house and right in the middle of the town. It was easy to get in and Debs communicated excellently and gave some great reccomendations :)
