The Marie country house is much more than just a place to stay. You have an entire house just for you. Here is a place to feel good, to switch off, to come to rest. No noise pollution, no real car traffic, but nights when it still gets dark. New: The property is now completely fenced. The nearest supermarket (Demmin) is 15 minutes away by car. For the essentials, there is an old "Konsum" [consumer cooperative] in the neighboring village. Having a car here is seen as an advantage.

Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

Charming house 40 km from the Baltic Sea

Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

Our vacation home will be completed in 2024 and has been furnished with a lot of joy and love. It is an oasis in the middle of a beautiful landscape with a view of nature. Sommersdorf is located in the beautiful "Mecklenburg Switzerland" and directly on Lake Kummerow. The surroundings invite you to a wide variety of leisure activities such as walks, bike rides, swimming, paddling and much more. Our farm is located between the cities of Greifswald (40 km), Neubrandenburg (40 km) and Demmin (20 km) on the northern edge of the Tollense Valley. We are in the process of renovating the house. The 1-room vacation apartment is located in the already renovated part of the house. You can take long walks, go on bike rides (bicycles are available) and go on paddle tours (Tollense). There is a swimming area for swimmers on the Tollense about 500 m away.

Great recreational paradise near Usedom

In 2016, the farm was completely refurbished and modernized. A mix of modern and country house charm make this a great vacation experience. All around is a nature reserve of European rank: the Peenetal - with a fascinating flora and fauna. Fireplace evenings, bike rides or boat tours on the nearby Peene provide plenty of variety. And the best part: Usedom Island is about 30 minutes by car. Summer, sun and beach :)
