The view is gorgeous and the drive was easy! Great place to stay.

The property was just as pictured, and absolutely gorgeous. Cory was very responsive and courteous, we really appreciated the local suggestions and his responsiveness. It was very hard to leave, the home in Plainfield/calais felt very comfortable and of course, breathe-taking beautiful. It can be a trek to get supplies and things, but it’s the Vermont countryside, just plan ahead and you’ll be fine. All in all, an incredible experience. Thank you

Michael's home is just perfect. Clearly they put a tremendous amount of thoughtful consideration into the design and decoration of their home. It has everything you need and is charming and comfortable. We can't wait to stay again!

The Holden-Frost house is an exceptional, historic residence. We appreciated the opportunity to stay there.

We had a great time staying with Bill and Nancy. The house was spotless, exceptionally well-equipped if you want to cook for yourself, and was a very homey spot for our family celebration. The location was beautiful -- right by the river -- and was convenient to most any adventures you'd want to undertake in the Northeast Kingdom. Only note: the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and would pose problems for people with mobility challenges.

Cozy ski in ski out condo right at the lower mountain lift. Lisa’s place was clean, easy to find and provided excellent access to the great skiing that Burke Mountain has to offer. Bonus feature was being able to watch the snow-cats work on the mountain trails at night. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe's place last weekend! The location was great (right at the base of Burke mountain) and easy to drive into town or hop over to some of the mountain biking trails. Joe was extremely friendly and responsive and wanted to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views from the nice open living, dining, kitchen area. Was a great fit for our long weekend trip to ski and ice climb... with easy access to Franconia, Cannon, etc. Kitchen had all the pots, pans, and utensils you'd want. There's a Nest thermostat and Robert helpfully turned on the heat before we arrived, so it was nice and warm immediately on entry. I would advise that in winter the path from the driveway to the house wouldn't be suitable for everyone (at least without using a walking stick or trekking pole), but it was fine for us.

Very nice newish place and super convenient location for the NE Kingdom trails-- and great to have bike storage in the basement. Enjoyed the grill on the deck and the cornhole was fun to have. Owner needs to work a bit on the quirky front door (lock sticks in an odd way)- and the folks staying in the bedrooms downstairs noted the issue with the sheets slipping off the mattress that was mentioned by others.

This is our third? fourth? stay at Matt’s. We love it! It’s like our second home. The location, the house, the sauna! Honestly, we always look forward to coming back. I think we’ve already booked it for a late summer visit….

We booked this airbnb last minute and were very happy. The location was off the beaten path and a great place to get our dogs out to play and run after we spent a day riding at kingdom trails. It was private and the perfect place to disconnect and recharge for a few days! Michael was super communicative and responsive. Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely book this again if it is available on our next trip to the NEK.

Lovely home in a quiet setting. Furniture comfortable especially the beds! Great porch to enjoy the outdoors and a super fun game room loft. Definitely recommend. Heidi was quick to respond to questions and friendly.

Excellent place. VERY cozy, cute and warm. Very much a cottage, and not a TV in sight! Just a perfect wood stove, an incredible view, and an AMAZING deck. Great for friends or family, with PLENTY of space and easy access to East Burke and Burke Mountain!

My family had a fabulous time at Israel’s place. The getaway was just what we needed to bond and recharge. Using the hot tub under the stars with snow on the ground was a truly magical experience. We spent our lazy days sitting by the fire, playing board games and cooking as a family. We did take a trip to Lake Willoughby for a hike. It was amazing. It reminded me of a Norwegian fjord. Five stars all around. I would definitely recommend and would rent again in the future from Israel.

Very cozy and peaceful place with plenty of privacy and beauty in nature. It felt like being at home with many nice places nearby. Would definitely recommend for a nice escape to enjoy the Vermont countryside. Andrea was very accommodating and helpful with any questions

The area is gorgeous, stunning view. We spent so much time outside, it was a perfect space for our toddler to play around. The bedroooms were well located and isolated in the house so we could be loud in the main area without disrupting the 3 toddlers naps and bedtime which was awesome. We found everything we needed and more. We recommand that place !

Spacious house located in the heart of East Burke. Everything was as described and even has lockable bike storage, with bike racks and an area for bike washing. You can ride right from your door or make a short trip to the surrounding trails. The host is super responsive and helpful.

Walter was an excellent host. The house location is amazing and on such a beautiful piece of property. Access to hiking trails, proximity to town and spectacular views made our stay very enjoyable this winter. We will definitely look to return next year! What a great area of VT.

Jeff’s place was the perfect home-away-from-home vibe we were looking for. The area offered beautiful winter views and the accommodations offered everything we needed.

Lisa’s place is lovely! We were a party of 5 visiting the area to mountain bike. Easy access to Kingdom Trails and 6-7 minutes to downtown. The sleeping arrangement description isslightly off; it’s 1 king, 1 queen, a double and 2 twins. This may be important for couples.

This is second time renting this house but first renting since Robin owned it and they have done great upgrades! House is awesome location for all KT activities! We biked, hiked and then biked again! Easy walk to dinner and Tiki hut! Reted with all adult friends who have biked for 20 years and we had great time! Thanks from Bike603

John was very responsive and flexible. House was perfect for our needs, clean and the fenced in yard was a big selling point with our dogs. We stayed for snowmobiling and we're able to park and ride from just a few minutes away. Hope to stay again.

It's an absolutely adorable cabin surrounded by beautiful Vermont woods! Just a short drive from the main road, the cabin is accessible but private, very well kept, and tastefully furnished! It's also situated close to the quaint towns of Burke and Brighton, and is a 20 min drive from the scenic Lake Willoughby and Mount Pisgah. Manisha is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome!
