Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

We had a beautiful week at The Cart Barn, beautiful location with beautiful views and a private garden which was perfect for our pooch! we spent most of our evenings watching the beautiful cows out the garden! the hot tub was a lovely addition and the barn had everything we needed to make ourselves and our dog feel at home! Some great recommendations in the welcome book and from the owners of local things to do! Will definitely be returning in the future! :)

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

Tranquil, beautifully converted barn. Extremely comfortable and very welcoming. Perfect for a break away from the rat race!! And Davina’s gluten-free lemon drizzle cake is amazing!! Thank you for a second very enjoyable stay!

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

Judith’s place was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. A cute little cottage in a great location. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area!

We’ve stayed here a few times now and feel very much at home! A great locations, some fabulous walks to Bridford where you will find the Bridford Inn, which is very friendly and welcoming.

What a treat! We had a 4 night stay in this beautiful house where every last detail has been thought about to add to your enjoyment and comfort. Everything was first class, very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless bathrooms with proper size towels, plenty of good cutlery and tableware, utensils for cooking if you wanted to cook. The house was a delight with lovely deep sofas overlooking one of the balconies to the ever changing landscape of the waters beyond. It would be hard not to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you! What an absolute gem. Tucked away down a quiet country lane and within easy walking distance of a beach this place was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in was a breeze and we found the property to be clean and well equipped, matching its online description perfectly. The property had a lovely garden with seating and was only a ten minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. The property came with a useful information book with recommendations for places to eat which we used. A number of other well known south Devon coastal towns were only a short drive away and the property was only 30 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful property. Thank you Linda for a lovely stay.

Wanted to come back as soon as we left! The cottage and its surrounding areas are absolutely stunning. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and a change of scenery. We were given a lovely recommendation for the Rugglestone Inn which we absolutely loved! Easy access to the moor and nearby village of Widecombe. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we could ever need. Not to mention its log fire which brought the whole place together as well as its comfy bed! We will be returning at some point in the near future! Can’t get enough of the place!

Great spot just a short walk from the river and the heart of Totnes. The little lane connects up to a series of lanes that criss cross Totnes. We found a lovely little garden - Leechwell - to chill with the kids. Joe was quick to communicate polite and welcoming. He also took into consideration our needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Swallows Nest. Lucia and Dan met us on arrival and also left a card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday which I thought was very kind. We have a four year old and one year old so it’s not always easy finding somewhere suitable but Lucia kindly set up a cot for us and supplied a high chair. The upstairs is open plan with a gate across the stairs so very safe for our baby crawling. Our four year old absolutely loved being on a farm and going to collect fresh milk from over the road. It’s so peaceful day and night. It was our first time in this part of Devon and we were blown away by the landscape, pretty little villages and many beaches in such lovely unspoilt settings. We would love to stay again!

Mike and Lyn were very friendly and helpful and were excellent hosts. The cottage was well appointed and beautifully clean. The sofa and bed were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful and the walk to Ayrmer Cove is stunning.

Very comfortable place with spectacular view over the ocean (the sunset!). Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to make the evening meals at the house which was convenient as we were travelling with a baby.

Lovely accommodation and quiet, pretty location close to some great places and a quick drive to Totnes. Photos don’t do it justice. Spacious, serene and well thought out. A pretty garden and exclusive use of the parking right outside. Lovely hosts who gave a warm welcome but otherwise felt a very private stay.

What a beautiful house—tastefully decorated and set in a wonderfully peaceful countryside location. Harriet is a fantastic host. We've never received such a detailed and helpful guide before our arrival; it made us feel welcome and well-prepared from the start. The home was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and Harriet was always available if anything came up. A lovely extra touch was the fresh bread, milk, and eggs waiting for us upon arrival—so thoughtful! The garden was another highlight: beautifully maintained and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in a stunning rural setting.

Chris and Carmen’s cottage and walled garden was absolutely perfect in every way. My family and I had a wonderful few days there enjoying their magnificent gardens and spacious, comfortable cottage. It is a beautifully appointed house with plentiful amenities for 6 people. The area is gorgeous with lovely nearby walks. A very special place. Can’t wait to come back on a future visit

We had a great stay in Rosecote cottage! Susie our host had thought of everything we could possibly need. A lovely touch was the welcome pack, biscuits, wine, water and chocolates the best we've ever received. The decor, furnishings, paintings and artwork were lovely and totally suited the cottage. Fabulous bathroom, loved all the Molton Brown products! A very well equipped kitchen, and dog bowls and treats! There were even bird seeds to top up the feeders outside! Comfortable bed and lovely big fluffy towels. Stunning location amongst other thatched cottages and short walk to beach. We will definitely stay again!
