Spakenburg aan het Eemmeer is van oudsher een vissersdorp met karakter, bekend om de klederdracht, vis, oude haven en gezellige zaterdagmarkt. Bij het meer is een strandje met speeltuin. Je kunt met de watertaxi naar de beachclub aan de overkant. De Spakenburgse dagen zijn een aanrader! Vanuit ons huis wandel je meteen het dorpscentrum binnen, met supermarkt, bakker, pizzeria en winkels vlakbij. Voor kinderen is een grote trampoline, allerlei speelgoed en speeltuin bij het huis. Right in the middle of the built-up area of Bunschoten- Spakenburg, at Kolkplein this spacious 2-room apartment is on the ground floor of a unique building, a rectory from 1890. The atmosphere is characterized by a mix of lovingly old and comfortable modern. A generous box spring with fine linens, but with vintage furniture and accessories. The kitchen is from grandmother's time, but it does provide a good combination microwave, hob, luxury coffee maker, etc.

We enjoyed a night in the small Pipo wagon. We used the BBQ and took a walk in the vegetable garden and surroundings. There was a wedding until midnight, but this was definitely not disturbing, just cozy. The decor of the Pipo could be a little nicer, there were only dessert forks, for example, and also no sharp knife (for bread or to cut open a little). At the BBQ there is also no chess stuff for the grate and also no BBQ tongs or something, so we had to improvise. A light on the outside of the Pipo would also have been useful. We definitely had a nice time, so no complaints, just tips!
