If you are looking for peaceful, relaxating and bit of play then this is the right place. We loved the location, the hot tub and had a blast with the go karts (our 3 year old especially). Good farm house stay. James was our contact and was very helpful and responsive. We would absolutely recommend!

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

A beautiful cabin, in a peaceful surrounding. Facilities were great, please was very clean. Great instructions and local recommendations from host. Very pet friendly. Worth every penny. We would highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful, restful break.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the very unusual Round House! As others have noted this is not your typical dwelling and for an Airbnb stay it makes for a great stay. The house is exactly as pictured in the ad. Old, seventies style, quirky, homely, comfortable and with all the essentials you'll need for a fun get away. And of course the views are stunning. We brought our own folding camp chairs and there's plenty of room to sit on the circular concrete walkway around the house itself to take in the view on a sunny day. On the wet days we enjoyed the same view from comfy armchairs inside. The nearby beach is lovely for walks but we just took the car there as it is very steep for walking. There's so much to see in the surrounding areas too. We have shown our stay photos to friends who are also now keen to stay at the Round House. We really enjoyed it. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay here at Audrey's cottage. We honestly can't fault anything. The place was spotless, had everything we needed. A shop, takeaway, pub, butchers, all in walking distance. We highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again in future. Very kind and helpful host. 10/10

We had a fantastic time staying at Shelia's place (The Snug). Situated in the quiet village of Dunkineely located between Donegal Town and Killybegs, the accommodation is the ideal base to explore this part of Donegal. The enclosed large garden, which has a wonderful view over the bay, was perfect for our dog Molly. The people of the village were very friendly, there is a Mace 1 min walk away should you need anything and you'll receive a warm welcome (dogs too !!) in Macs Bar if you fancy a pint. We didn't need to contact the host during our stay as we had no problems and everything about the place was perfect. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We plan to make a return visit.

The apartment was wonderful, and in a perfect location - we could hear the waves on the beach. It was spotlessly clean and Catherine is a very thoughtful and generous host who left treats, extra toiletries and had lots of tourist information about the area in the apartment. Highly recommended.

Just lovely wee place.. the fully fenced garden was brilliant for my dog, the garden is huge, the cottage was very cosy, very warm, bed comfortable, shower great. Noreen was a great communicative host and even supplied a ball for my dog!! Would not hesitate to recommend area, property and host... we had bad weather one day, a perfect excuse to just curl up and and indulge In the fabulous home, heat and a book!! Everything was as described, perfectly clean and everything you could want for a short or long stay!!

Chris and Colette have clearly put in lots of effort and care to ensure their guests have a great time at their holiday home. They have a binder with all the information you could possibly need, it is completely organised and easy to navigate. They are responsive and people you could reach out to easily if you needed help. The place is very clean and neat. It is walkable to the town and there is a gas station even closer which is convenient for everyday items. Buses nearby too! I had a great stay and would recommend.

Beautiful house in an outstanding location. In the middle of the countryside with views of the beach and mountains within a short drive of local shops, restaurants and amenities.

My fourth time here and it still moves me! Love the calm that surrounds this home. A true gem! Host as always are always kind and leave everything ready and are easily accessible.

Beautiful, traditional, homely cottage which was perfect for 2 adults, 2 children and our dog. Weather wasn’t great for us but after a day at the beaches we were able to come back, get the fire lit and relax whilst looking out at the stormy weather. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

We love Strandhill and Donal's house was the perfect place to stay for a few nights. It's very close to great pubs and lovely restaurants, it's in a quiet neighbourhood as well, so you kind of feel part of the community there. The house is incredible, it has everything you might need. We'll definitely be staying here again when we return to Strandhill.

Outstanding view from the living room window, so modern, clean and spacious. Walking distance to the town and right facing the funfair and beach, the apartment was overall beautiful so clean and fresh, Ian was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be recommending to others and will 100% be back thank you Ian for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely short break at Edel’s home and it was truly wonderful. The house was thoughtfully equipped for families with young children which made for a very relaxing stay! The views were absolutely stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Edel was a responsive and attentive host, even sending us a thoughtful reminder to catch the beautiful sunset. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful. The cottage was an amazing find. lots of character and the outdoor space was perfect for our three girls to run around in. Tracey was a great host and communications were excellent. would highly recommend.
