Wonderful villa with a beautiful outdoor area- fruit trees, roses, and flowers. We enjoyed the wine, snacks and fresh fruit the host had for us upon arrival. This was our last stop in Italy. Bedding, mattresses and AC has not been great in the places that we have stayed, and never was there a fan. This villa had a comfortable bed , great ac, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. My husband said his best night sleep the entire trip. We were missing our dogs and cats and we loved having theirs visit us daily! The hosts were traveling so we didn’t get the chance to meet them. They regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was good and provided local recommendations. Given the reviews and accommodation, I’m sure they are amazing! If you’re ever in Florence, this place is worth the stay.

A very comfortable home for seven people in a lovely small, quiet town!

This was one of our most memorable holidays. A guided tour to the house to which upon arrival I cannot describe the stunning, magical, peaceful view and surroundings! All made us most welcome! The surrounding towns (Callodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia), cities (Lucca) close by (30 mins) and trains to Florence very relaxing. The farmhouse, with great character, was comfortable, cool, and well equipped with many a family feast overlooking the valley under stars swimming. Many thanks to the loyal gardener! Amazing. Thank you for a magical break and we hope to return.

We had an unforgettable stay at this villa for our bachelorette getaway! The host was incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtaking — even better than in the pictures! The villa had everything we needed to set the perfect atmosphere: fully stocked kitchen with plates and glasses, plenty of towels, and thoughtful details throughout. We loved picking fresh lemons from the garden and finding peaceful spots around the property to read and relax. It’s incredibly private and serene — the perfect escape. While the drive-up can be a bit tricky at first, it quickly becomes second nature and is well worth it.This place exceeded all of our expectations. Highly, highly recommend — we'd come back in a heartbeat!

Villa Frau was a dream to stay in, so close to Lucca and we found the day trips to Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Cinque Terre a breeze to drive. Katia was so helpful and friendly and a joy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!

The biggest recommendation!!! We loved this place. The house is filled with various cozy areas, so there is plenty of shade, as we were travelling with small babies. We loved the outdoor seating area, and the pool area is more beautiful than the images shows. Only thing we would mention, is that there is a 10-15min drive uphill a very narrow road before you reach the house. It was not a problem for us, as we wanted to stay as much time as possible at the house. Other than that, Francesca was an amazing host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back another time!

The home exceeded our expectations! We spent a wonderful week there with our family. A fantastic house, magical place and lots to see and do in the nearby area! The host couple was very nice and helpful - a compliment to them! The house and kitchen were well-equipped and we lacked absolutely nothing - but now that we leave we miss the house and look forward to coming back! Ciao - see you!

Can't say enough great things about this villa and Cristina as it's host! This was a family trip with 12 of us, and the villa provided more than enough space, bathrooms, amenities, and convenience for everyone. Sleeping arrangements were plenty and comfortable, bathrooms were larger than what you might expect for a European villa, several of them with dual sinks as well, and lots of modern upgrades that made things convenient but nothing to steal away from the absolute charm of the villa, especially the back yard by the pool. We loved spending most of our time there when we weren't exploring inside the city walls of Lucca (which are right outside the front door of the villa, an easy 5-10 minute walk away!) There were also coffee shops, markets, a pharmacy, a bank, etc., right around the corner from the villa for even more convenience. And Cristina herself? AMAZING. So proactive with communication, provided tons of information, and was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. THE BEST.

It is hard to find the superlatives to describe this absolutely wonderful villa. We spent 3 nights there with a group of 8 friends and really did not want to leave. The setting of the property is even more amazing than on the pictures: a shady terrace overlooking a beautiful garden with a pool in the middle, surrounded by lush hillsides and sweeping views of the valley beneath - all of this in complete calm, peace and quiet. Really, like in a dream. Moreover, the place is extremely well-equipped, with a separate BBQ room, pizza oven, changing rooms/towels/sunbeds for the pool area, extra-large fridge and full kitchen with all the modern amenities. Everything was spotless clean. You can also feel the attention to little details in all aspects of the villa. The location is quite remote, so better to come by car. Virginia and Daniela were super kind and delightful, + very easy to communicate with (they live in an attached house). They even offer dinner from locally grown food. Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay, the house really felt like a home and was instantly relaxing. The whole booking and check in process was very straightforward and Giuseppe who met us to show us around the property and hand over the keys was very welcoming, kind and informative. The house has wonderfully peaceful location, with beautiful views. It has been furnished with excellent taste, and so adds to the feeling of being in a real home rather than a rental. The gardens and pool are delightful and evenings on the loggia will be remembered for a long time, we cant wait to return!

The home was located about 1/2 mile from several quaint small towns. Many great restaurants and tours through the beautiful hills and wine country. Very relaxing for family, friends or just to see you unwind by yourself. I highly recommend this location. Take advantage of tours arranged by Nicollo'and his family. We had a ball! Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). Wonderful stay at the Villa among the vineyards in Panzano. Vicky, the host, is the owner of Le Fonti winery with the villa surrounded by their vineyards and olive groves. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. The town of Panzano is very cute. We bought groceries at the Coop and made breakfast each morning, gathering in the cozy well equipped kitchen. There is a courtyard immediately outside the doors of the villa with a large table, and again amazing views. Our time in the villa was so relaxing! Though we went to several wineries, a highlight was a very personal tour of the winery, wine making process and wines by Vicky at Le Fonti. She spent time discussing/pouring the different wines, even bringing over the same wine from different years to show us the difference the weather/grape stress influences the final taste. Overall exactly what we wanted from a Tuscan experience and really enriched by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host.

The accommodation was very well equipped (kitchen, bathroom, towels, detergent - everything) clean and perfect from the location to come down. The communication was excellent and the check-in very friendly. We also received friendly and quick answers to our questions. The WLAN reception was good but less suitable for 4 or more people who want to work at the same time. We would come back. Thank you for the hospitality 🙏

We had a wonderful stay at Giuseppe's. We would definitely recommend it as hub for exploring Lucca and the surrounding area or just relaxing and enjoying the pool.

We really had an amazing stay! The location is ideal and peaceful, a real haven of peace in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. The pool is beautiful, with stunning views. The accommodation is very charming, very functional and very clean! Eugenia is welcoming, extremely kind, available while being discreet, and offers good advice. It was our first experience on Airbnb and we leave Eugenia's with stars in our eyes… Many thanks Eugenia, we will be back, and we will highly recommend you! A pronto!

The villa was beautiful! Very peaceful and a great base for exploring the region. Lorenzo was very helpful before we got there and while we were there. The entry road is steep, so follow his directions on the type of car to get. Once you drive it the first time you’ll be fine!

We had a lovely stay at Leonardos villa in the hills of the Tuscany. The place has different villas that are within walking distance of each other but with enough distance so that privacy is kept. The villa is very rustic and old, which creates the Italian charm, but of course ants also find their way into the house which you need to be aware of. We were not disturbed by that and loved the country- style feeling of the place!
