Amazing place! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great home with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mtns and tranquility for days! Julie was a superb host. Her hospitality, directions and communication were second to none. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again.

We had the absolute best time staying here. We had two families staying together, 10 total. With more than enough space! The location was perfect. The space was clean and cozy. We had the best time and made some amazing memories with our friends. Also we slept at night on the third floor with a window opened and it was so quiet outside! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Our family of four needed a quiet get away, and we enjoyed the beautiful days and evenings, inside and on the deck! Hikes nearby, spa nearby, restaurants, grocery, gas also nearby. Great resort year round! Lots of activities if you want them, and lots of peaceful nature if you want. Great!

Great stay! Perfect location and space was great. A tad smaller than what it looked like in the photos, but overall, great! The kitchen did not have any pantry space, but we made do with a shelf above the microwave and bins on top of the fridge. A day prior to check-in, I received an email stating the pool in the complex was closed for repairs. A bit disappointed at first, but it ended up working out really well. We had access to the SPA indoor and outdoor pools and the outdoors ended up being too cold to swim in. The indoor pool was no problem at all and they were very accommodating with lettings us have access throughout our stay. We would stay here again for sure!

Joes property was absolutely beautiful! The views are amazing from the cozy hot tub on the back porch. Everything was super clean and the beds were super comfortable! This airbnb would be great for a family stay or a friends getaway. It was everything we needed and more! Joe was quickly responsive when i had questions. This air bnb is stocked with EVERYTHING you may need. Beautiful spot, 10/10!

This is our family’s third stay here, so obviously we enjoy this beautiful property! The home is well stocked, spacious, family friendly, and very welcoming. As a bonus, this was our first stay during pool weather, so we were able to utilize the beautiful pool/hot tub area. Bedford is a lovely location. Quaint small town but close to lots of recreation.

A wonderful property nestled in the Wintergreen Resort. While not part of the resort, the amenities and surrounding Breweries offered plenty to do while not relaxing in the hot tub or on the private deck. Beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out. Access to WiFi and movie channels were convenient and supplemented the secluded feel for a well balanced vacation. Highly recommend this rental for families and groups looking to get away for a relaxing and enjoyable time in the mountains. Bring your cameras and charge your phones to take pictures of the breathtaking views at and around the house!

What an outstanding experience. There were four of us and the drive to the house was beyond "Virginia quaint" and so beautiful. The Blue Ridge was viewable from many vantage points at the house. The bedrooms were large and beautifully furnished. Kitchen was huge with all the equipment and table settings you could ask for. The enclosed porch allowed us to revisit childhood with the animal neighbors that wandered through. The feel of the house when you walked in was, "welcome, kick your shoes off and stay a while". Our host was pro-active in reaching out to us. Gave us a great recommendation for pizza/pasta/fun nearby and she was all around great to work with. We already have plans for our next visit!

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay. Caroline’s place was perfect for our small group. Very clean and cozy with comfortable beds!

We immediately felt at home during our stay at the Little House. All of the details were thought through, including lots of extra kitchen items and furnishings. It was clean, private and very quiet. Its location in a historic neighborhood is accessible to multiple parts of Lynchburg like the riverfront, shopping centers and Liberty University. We hope to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Brittany & Cory’s cottage. They supplied everything we needed for our stay plus so much more. There were plenty of towels, toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dinnerware, cookware, spices, dish detergent, and they even provided a basket full of snacks. Card games were provided in the living room. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch. The house was spacious enough to sleep 7 adults. Even though there were basement guests while we were there, we barely noticed and felt very safe & secure. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay again.

Photos can never truly do a place justice—so as stunning as it looks in the pictures, it’s even more breathtaking in person. We needed a spot that could comfortably accommodate six people for my son’s graduation from VMI, and this home was perfect. We brought an air mattress and gave the cozy little alcove room near the main level bathroom to our elderly guest. The upstairs guests sharing the “communal potty” located in the primary bedroom led to plenty of laughs and memories—stories we’ll be telling for years to come! Victoria was wonderfully gracious with the checkout time, as no one was checking in right after us. We’re incredibly grateful for such thoughtful and accommodating hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat away from town to catch up with out-of-town family over coffee in the morning or wine on the deck in the evening, this is absolutely the perfect place to book.

We had a very nice stay at Magnolia Cottage. The place was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The wi-fi was fast! It was a very roomy place, with beautiful views of the mountains. We hiked in the mountains, and on the local Chessie Trail. Our host was easily available, and had local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again if in the area! Thank you!

A short stay at The Treehouse gave us just the break we needed! Ramona's prompt communication, instructions, recommendations, and just the thoughtfulness in little things around the house made the stay all the more relaxing. The location needed some specific steps which Ramona/Chip had conveyed perfectly. You'll feel like you're away from the world, and have everything you need to be away from the world! The town of Lexington is close by - with excellent recommendations from the hosts for food and drinks. The house itself is charming, with ample light and beautiful views. Everything from the wall art to the guidebook spoke of the hosts thoughtfulness and attention to detail. We will definitely be back during the fall season to experience the beauty of the place all over again, in a new way!

It was our second visit. The first visit was about 2 years ago. As soon as we walked through the door, it was as if we never left. It was just as lovely and welcoming as we remembered. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The large, covered porch is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and the views. It’s completely secluded and private, yet less than 2 miles to the center of town. Don’t worry if you think you have forgotten to bring something you might want for the kitchen or bathroom. You will find everything you need, and probably much more! We look forward to a return visit, and plan to make it a bit sooner next time. Thanks Vicki and Jennifer!

Lovely little spot in Amherst. Clean, close to the towns shops and restaurants. Stayed here for SBC reunion and it was convenient to campus.

The description was accuarate, not a fancy place, but a beautiful location and the old farm hoouse has lots of character and charm. The stone tables and layout of the riverside patio are works of art. The road was a little sketchy with all the rain they had, John had already cleared a tree off the road and pushed away some of a rock slide before we got there and then another tree fell and blocked us in for one morning, but he got right on it and cleared it away and we were able to get out before noon and salvage the day. I would suggest sharing a picture of the entrance and old sign to the road at the end of the way side, we drove by it the first time, but it was easy enough to U turn back to it. After seeing the sign once it was a good landmark for finding the road off the highway. I already had a bike club member ask for the link to the place after seeing the pictures I posted to Strava, it's a great place to cycle out of and explore the area from, very convenient to Lexington.

Martha's house is just like the pictures! Immaculately clean, artistic, quirky, and full of personality. Spectacular views. Less than 10 min. to W&L and the heart of Lexington. Martha is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and absolutely communicates well. We arrived late at night, and the keypad checkin was a breeze. Highly, highly recommend!

I loved everything about the cottage - everything from the location to the amenities and furnishings. It had everything we needed and more. We’d love to stay again when we visit Lexington.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! It feels so cozy and homey. Our kids loved it too, apart from some of the dolls she has as decor lol. The hot tub area was so nice! Conveniently close to Natural Bridge and Lexington. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here if we ever come back to the area again.

Nice basement suite. Had everything I needed to be comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the livingroom area was great for relaxing and watching TV on a huge television. The extra perks (snacks, water, soda and coffee) were a nice touch! Thanks!

Xavier was a wonderful host. He was very responsive and friendly. His place is terrific. The views are incredible. The rooms are very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a fabulous stay in the mountains. We would absolutely come back again!
