We had a wonderful stay at the Red House! The space was very cozy, yet surprisingly roomy — perfect for relaxing and feeling right at home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the setting felt peaceful and private throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a quiet retreat.

What a beautiful property! Went for a girls trip and it was the perfect spot for us. Spacious for 4 people with an awesome deck and lawn to enjoy. It was so peaceful to sit out, watch the lake and read while you drank coffee in the morning. There were games we could play, a great fire pit to sit around and a hot tub for when ending the night. The space was very clean and organized, and had everything we could need. Would love to stay here again!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Benita's place! The decor was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful bachelorette weekend at Joanie’s place! There were many games and water toys to keep us entertained our entire stay. We loved using the hot tub and sauna and had an all around blast! The bbq is in a perfect location to look at the pristine lake view as well. Cant recommend this place enough, perfect location and amazing amenities. Thank you Joanie!

We stayed at Luisa’s place for just under a week to celebrate my daughter graduating from Queen’s. We figured it would be nicer to stay in a hour than in a hotel and we weren’t wrong! The location of Luiza’s place is unbelievably beautiful. The lake is calm and secluded and surrounded by forest. The property is set up gorgeously and well maintained. Where-ever you are on the property you’re met with stunning views. Inside we enjoyed a fantastic kitchen that was well stocked as well as an open living space that allowed us to gather. The heated bathroom floors were a great touch. Quick disclaimer (that did not bother us at all, but for future travelers): Luiza isn’t kidding when she says its cliff side! Keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. Thank you for opening your lovely home for us for such a special occasion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and private. It was beautiful to lay in bed and listen to the wildlife as we headed off to sleep. It was so cozy by the wood burning fireplace in the evening . The historical pieces that were included in the decor and the books about the history of the house were a nice touch. Highly recommend hiking at the Eagles Nest trail near by.

The location of the cottage itself is amazing however what makes this place special is the effort which Kirk especially his wife puts in to make their guests' stay comfortable and memorable. Everything is so organized that we could just step in enjoy our time. There were a few glitches e.g. there was no water supply, however Kirk ensured that this was sorted within minutes of my communicating the issue. infact, Kirk was there at the checkout time to ensure future guests do not face any problems. Tbh we got a little late while cleaning up at the checkout time, however Kirk waited with a smile on his face and even offered to clean up the place by himself. This one is a highly recommended place to stay not just for its beauty but also the host. Thank you and your wife Kirk, you guys are amazing! Hope to see you soon again.

The house is in an awesome location. Kayaks were put to good use. A lot of nature and wildlife to soak in right from the doorstep or backyard. Everything was in great condition. Also had our dog along for this trip and place was pet friendly as well (although going upstairs might not be for all pets 😂 certainly wasn't for my guy). The hosts have included all items required for a comfortable stay in every room. Enjoyed our stay and would be back for sure.

We used this house as a family base for a family wedding held nearby. Location was perfect for our needs and gave us enough space to all be together for multiple days. Very responsive host and easy check in!

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

The place was spectacular and so much more than we expected. Beautiful location and lovely neighbours. We spent our 3 days hiking and there were so many lakes and conservation areas, trails etc for that. It is truly a lovely spot. The cottage had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will be booking there again!

This was our second stay this winter at the cottage. Its a beautiful house and property. Love the picture window overlooking the lake.

We spent four nights here with six adults, two kids, and an infant. It was just what we needed. Lots of great space for cooking, eating, and playing games. An extremely well provisioned kitchen. Gorgeous views of the lake! (We even had a number of bald eagle sightings.) Enjoyable day trips into nearby Westport. We would love to return in warmer weather to make use of the water activities. Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

We had a wonderful family stay at Fernbrae for Thanksgiving. Kim & Bill are amazing hosts, easy to communicate with and always available. The kitchen is well equipped and the cottage is clean and has everything you need. It also has an amazing history while still being well maintained and updated. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed spending time on the front lawn and doing a campfire. Kim & Bill also gave us great recommendations! Thank you for an amazing stay! We had a wonderful family stay in Andrey's chalet; the environment is beautiful, the accommodation is very well equipped to enjoy the interior and exterior. We appreciated Andrey's availability and attentiveness, as well as his advice on how to make the most of our stay. We'll be happy to come back if we have the chance.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Suzan’s place despite the water and power outage. Suzan was very responsive and accommodating.

We (couple, mid 40s) travel twice or three times a year and generally stay in holiday homes and we have never been in a house that comfortable, homely and tastefully decorated. The garden and lakeshore are just beautiful and calm and we would have loved to stay even longer. The house was equiped with everything we could think of and the communication with Robert and Kirsten was perfect. We hope to come back.

My wife and I loved our honeymoon stay here. The cottage was very charming with pretty views of the lake especially during sunset. The town of Napanee was also very charming, filled with local stores and not overrun with tourism. It’s only an hour drive to beautiful beaches on Lake Ontario as well. I had to delay my arrival a day later than expected but Julie was very gracious in accommodating. She also gave plenty of recommendations for the area and clear instructions.
