Cottage holiday rentals in Frontenac County

We went here for a family vacation and this peaceful abode by the lake is something we needed more than what we expected. It was relaxing, silent and within the nature. The hot tub is a magical added luxury. There are enough life jackets for you to try and go for some paddle boating by the lake. And for people who enjoys a good campfire at night like me, they had an amazing spot with loads of wood to light an amazing campfire. All in all we got what we expected and enjoyed every bit of it.

Amazing stay! superb outdoor space and the cottage is nice and cozy. Very organized and clean which is great. Had everything we needed and more. Would definitely come back.

Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

What a beautiful property! Went for a girls trip and it was the perfect spot for us. Spacious for 4 people with an awesome deck and lawn to enjoy. It was so peaceful to sit out, watch the lake and read while you drank coffee in the morning. There were games we could play, a great fire pit to sit around and a hot tub for when ending the night. The space was very clean and organized, and had everything we could need. Would love to stay here again!

My friends and I had an great stay at Colombe's Cottage. The lake was perfect for a few morning dock jumps, Hot tub nicely situated for lounging when it starts to cool off, and living room cozy enough to watch a thriller when it's time to hide from the Bugs. Taking a swim around the weed free dock and beach is a definite must. Colombe was very quick and responsive to any questions as well.

Great place to stay for a getaway! Hot tub was lovely and got use of the kayaks. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed and lots of dishware. Don't forget your dishwasher pods/laundry soap and your own spices if you're cooking.

The cabin and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and Mark and Tayler are amazing hosts! I came for a weekend of peaceful relaxation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The small touches (like a wood stove set up with kindling, bird feeder food ready to use, vinyl collection with stereo ready to play) made the visit feel truly magical. I can’t wait to visit again!

This cottage was great! It looks just like the photos, but was bigger than we expected which was nice! Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Jamtel is also very responsive. Also very few bugs outside despite it being June which made hanging out outside really comfortable.

Crow’s Nest was perfect for a family weekend (5 adults). The place was as described in the listing, the only surprises were positive - device charging locations in the living room and every bedroom, lots of coffee K pods and a refrigerator stocked with all the essential condiments. Devon is the perfect host, in fact would qualify as a perfect neighbour - not intrusive but always there when you need her. Quick responses to every question, help with the BBQ, even fresh strawberries on the step Saturday morning. The location was great - on the water well set back from anything busy, but just a 10 minute drive into town. Would not hesitate to highly recommend the cottage and Devon.

The location of the cottage itself is amazing however what makes this place special is the effort which Kirk especially his wife puts in to make their guests' stay comfortable and memorable. Everything is so organized that we could just step in enjoy our time. There were a few glitches e.g. there was no water supply, however Kirk ensured that this was sorted within minutes of my communicating the issue. infact, Kirk was there at the checkout time to ensure future guests do not face any problems. Tbh we got a little late while cleaning up at the checkout time, however Kirk waited with a smile on his face and even offered to clean up the place by himself. This one is a highly recommended place to stay not just for its beauty but also the host. Thank you and your wife Kirk, you guys are amazing! Hope to see you soon again.

The house is in an awesome location. Kayaks were put to good use. A lot of nature and wildlife to soak in right from the doorstep or backyard. Everything was in great condition. Also had our dog along for this trip and place was pet friendly as well (although going upstairs might not be for all pets 😂 certainly wasn't for my guy). The hosts have included all items required for a comfortable stay in every room. Enjoyed our stay and would be back for sure.

We loved our stay at Oak Cottage! Linda went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. The fishing was great (caught a pike!) and the amenities offered made our stay great fun - we loved the fire pit. The location is beautiful, well maintained and peaceful. Was a perfect stay. Thank you to our hosts!

Where to start? Magdalena’s cottage was *chef’s kiss*! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. The outdoor space was gorgeous, the inside was clean, comfortable and cozy. The hosts were very receptive and quick to reply to messages. They left us a heartwarming gift basket and helped make us feel at home. I will 100% be coming back. Thank you again, Magdalena! We had a wonderful long weekend at Gary’s cottage! From the moment we arrived, Gary was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive—always available for any questions and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. The cottage itself felt like a true home away from home, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family getaway. From the cozy setup to the small thoughtful touches, it was clear that Gary takes great care and pride in hosting. this was the perfect cottage. didn't matter where you were you always had a view of the lake. beautiful dock for boats and a beautiful dock for relaxing on or to swim from. it was so relaxing and peaceful. watching the hummingbirds at the feeder was such a beautiful touch. sitting in the beautiful Adirondack chairs having my morning tea was fantastic. we even got a visit from an otter who just did his thing on the deck while we watched him from the big livingroom window. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for relaxation and peace. the pictures don't do it justice. the host is great. the instructions we got ahead of time were great to have as we knew what we needed to bring. the place was absolutely clean. everything we needed was there. it really felt like it was my own place. the furniture and beds were all comfy. thank you thank you thank you dreamnest for sharing your place with others to experience tranquility. the name definitely suits it.

Tanners place was a perfect hideaway in nature for my son and I. His place was clean and just as described. the layout is unique and functional. Tanner and his coHost Chuck were very professional, responsive and proactive with their communications. We unfortunately had a power.outage due to a major storm during our stay and both, Tanner and Chuck handled the situation perfectly. My son and I will definitely be back and If you're looking for a quiet getaway with all the amenities and convenience of home, I can't recommend Tanners place enough.

This was the ideal spot for our mother-daughter getaway. Brenda has made the place feel so cozy, and communication with her was a breeze. The view of the water is unbeatable, and the location is perfect for day trips to Perth, Almonte, etc. We had everything we needed and more, we highly recommend booking with Brenda!

We stayed at Luisa’s place for just under a week to celebrate my daughter graduating from Queen’s. We figured it would be nicer to stay in a hour than in a hotel and we weren’t wrong! The location of Luiza’s place is unbelievably beautiful. The lake is calm and secluded and surrounded by forest. The property is set up gorgeously and well maintained. Where-ever you are on the property you’re met with stunning views. Inside we enjoyed a fantastic kitchen that was well stocked as well as an open living space that allowed us to gather. The heated bathroom floors were a great touch. Quick disclaimer (that did not bother us at all, but for future travelers): Luiza isn’t kidding when she says its cliff side! Keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. Thank you for opening your lovely home for us for such a special occasion.

We had an amazing stay at Mike’s cottage! Super relaxing, peaceful, and the best part—almost no bugs or mosquitoes, which made our getaway even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth, the place was spotless, and had everything we needed. Really appreciated the thoughtful setup. Would definitely love to come back!

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location! Lots of things to do outside and fully equipped kitchen and large bedrooms inside. The only issue (and it's clearly stated in the description) but not having a washing machine was definitely a drawback. We enjoyed our time and could have stayed longer!

Lovely cottage overlooking a beautiful serene lake. We really enjoyed our stay at Leah’s cozy cottage. The cottage is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and clean. Totally recommend it!

We had a wonderful family stay in Andrey's chalet; the environment is beautiful, the accommodation is very well equipped to enjoy the interior and exterior. We appreciated Andrey's availability and attentiveness, as well as his advice on how to make the most of our stay. We'll be happy to come back if we have the chance.

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.

Carissa and Owen are great hosts and the cottage is the perfect getaway. Our group had an amazing time!
