We were so thrilled to bring my mother to her grandfather’s home. We were able to be inside the house for the first time in over 40 years. Clinton was so nice and we are happy he is taking such good care of this historic site.

Traditional thatched roof cottage with lots of charm. Sonia gave us some history of the cottage upon arrival. the setting was beautiful! The roses were divine! The thatched roof was why we booked, the setting was worth the stop, and the water pressure was outstanding, possibly the best in all of Ireland. Sonia is a delightful host and her live of the property shows.

Staying at this beautiful country house just outside Adare was truly an unforgettable experience. The home, originally built in 1831, is steeped in charm and history while offering all the modern comforts you could hope for. The house itself is stunning. High ceilings, antique details, and cozy accents make every room feel like part of a storybook. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and thoughtful—offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Irish countryside retreat with historic character this is the place.

Aileen was such a wonderful host! The Kelleher Kottage is quaint, clean, cozy and in a great location. We walked to the grocery store, made breakfast and dinner in the kitchen and slept comfortably each night. Also visited the Kelleher Pub around the corner and had such a fun night with Pat and many lovely pub patrons. We didn’t want to leave Kilfinnane or the Kelleher Kottage! What a gem this place is!!

We stayed with Una and John for a few days. The accommodation is very nice and the annex also offers a nice service, with a grill, table, fridge and stove for cooking. A freezer is also available in a separate room. We also found breakfast products offered by our guests. The place is very quiet and relaxing and the guests are discreet and polite, available for conversation but not intrusive. We all had a good time (there were 5 of us, two adults and three boys). The two little dogs (Bella and Daisy) are cute and cuddly. It was a nice vacation, a place recommended especially for those who have a car and can therefore move within a 100km radius to see many beautiful things without having to change Airbnb every time. Highly recommended!

We were delighted with our stay in Ballingarry. The Airbnb was like brand new. Everything was spotless .It is much bigger than it looks on the site. Loved having a nice big laundry room, especially when you have little kids strollers etc. It is a great central location. It is a short driving distance to Adare, Limerick City and areas of Cork and Clare. Marie and Aidan were so prompt with their responses. Any questions I had were answered within a short period. There were plenty of towels, and all the other daily necessities like dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent etc. Marie and Aidan had stocked the refridgerator with milk etc. There was even a delicious Apple Pie waiting to be devoured with a cup of tea. Thanks Aidan and Marie for making our stay feel like home away from home for a week.

This place was wonderful. We had been driving a lot that day. When we arrived, the cottage was clean, very comfortable, VERY peaceful - sort of out in the country off the beaten path a little. The parking was private and just a wonderful location - especially after a long day of driving and site-seeing.

Harry's farm house exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect base for exploring County Limerick and the beautiful countryside around Adare. The location is stunning and peaceful. The house is on a working farm with breathtaking views of a Norman ruin right from the front door. The setting feels authentically Irish while still being conveniently located for day trips to Adare and the surrounding areas. The house itself was immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking with local ingredients, and all the amenities were exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, the WiFi reliable and fast enough for our needs, and the heating perfect, however it wasn't needed for us most of the time. This place was perfect for our family of four to relax, enjoy, and explore all of what County Limerick had to offer. We will certainly come back again and hopefully not too far in the future!
