Modern Studio Flat

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My daughter stayed here for 5 weeks while in the area for work. The cottage was warm, clean and comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water available. It is in a great central location in Ballater, with shops and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. There is off street parking in a small private car park at the rear of the garden. This was very handy as the street the cottage is on is quite narrow. Kelly was a great host and was always very responsive to any questions we had.

Lonach Coaching Inn

We had a wonderful time at Sonia's place. The house and the location were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed sitting round the firepit cooking a barbecue and soaking up the stunning views. We would love to return for another visit at sometime, and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Crofts Mill

Really lovely place with everything you need in a great location! Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Great location for a variety of walks and nice villages. Unfortunately the garden wasn’t dog secure for our dogs who would easily have escaped if not on lead. Also worth noting dogs aren’t allowed on furniture or in the bedrooms which we wouldn’t have booked if known prior to booking as our rescue dogs struggled with this. But if your dogs are more chilled then it’s a lovely place to stay.

Newly converted steading nr Aboyne, Royal Deeside

Bev’s place was beautifully appointed and the additional extras - milk, coffee/tea, snacks etc were much appreciated. Bev was helpful when asked for directions to a nearby church, managing to provide a postcode. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed here.

Beautiful two bedroom apartment in Ballater.

AlexanderRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My wife and I were unfamiliar with Deeside, so we tried Ballater as a base. We were very pleased to discover Angela's apartment on Airbnb. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had all the essentials for our three-night stay. The town is charming and a popular destination for tourists visiting Royal Deeside. We both commented on the friendly atmosphere and the town's cleanliness. Finally, we would highly recommend Angela's accommodation.

Charming One Bedroom Suite with Phenomenal Views

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed my 2 night stay here. Nicely furnished bedroom with adjacent lounge. Ideal location in the centre of Ballater with easy parking on the street outside. Straightforward check in with the keybox. I had an excellent breakfast at The Bothy cafe just a stone's throw away. There are lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep. However there is one significant caveat with this particular room. Being in the attic it has very low ceilings and even lower doors. I'm 6ft 2 and the top of the door frames were level my forehead so I had to stoop to get through. The shower cubical was also rather cramped with a low sloping ceiling which I managed to whack my head on. So my advice is that if you are above average height go for one of the other rooms on the first floor.
