The perfect location for families with young kids - my daughter loved her own room and the playing area outside

We had a wonderful stay at De Vrede - as a plantswoman myself, the garden must've been my favourite part of the whole property. Expansive, wild and prescribed a slower temporal pace I found incredibly fruitful. The cottage itself was delightful too, where we spent most of the chilly evenings by the fireplace. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful with spectacular views of the mountains and vineyard. Owen the manager was extremely helpful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!

Our stay was very short. we arrived in the dark and had to leave early also in the dark. Had a very peaceful sleep, place was warm and cozy, Egbert had the heat going when we arrived. Beautiful place.

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay! The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding wineries and mountain while being conveniently close to town. It was the ideal setting for exploring the local attractions and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The house itself was immaculate and incredibly well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of care and attention to detail. It was not only clean but also inviting, making it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with Ann was exceptional. She was quick to respond and went out of her way to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Her warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience, making it all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable getaway, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of the area!

Absolute gem! Was so nice to spend some time disconnected from the busy world. Check-in was a breeze, with clear directions on how to get to the cabin. The cabin was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and we pre-ordered a few bags of wood which were already there once we arrived. Dan was super responsive and helpful with all our queries - we’ll definitely be back soon.

As per my first visit to Lucky Crane Villas on my birthday in November, this visit was again spectacular. The interior aesthetics of Monika's design, the total comfort, the thoughtfully created functionality in every space, the integration with surrounding nature and the views out the windows, the private garden, and so much more - all this adds up to a truly fabulous experience. Definitely have dinner at the "The Courtyard Bistro and Theater", and breafast at "51", both must-visit destinations in their own right. We thoroughly enjoyed our time ! The house and its surroundings were exactly like the pictures- even better. The perfect getaway from the bustling city life. Our puppy enjoyed the outdoor space the most. We can’t think of a single negative aspect of this getaway.

We had a wonderful family stay at Ontevreden. The house has everything you need and more. I still cannot get over the most amazing mountain views, and peacefulness of the farm. The hosts were fabulous and answered all of our questions, as well as accomodating our requests. Thank you for the unforgettable weekend my family that we will talk about for years to come!

We had the most amazing weekend as a family of 8 at Good Luck dam house. What a lovely set up, so open plan and glass doors that open up completely letting the beautiful view and surrounding wild life feel part of our experience. The house is fully equipped with everything one may need and has such a lovely ambience!! We all loved it and will definitely return for a warmer summer weekend. Beautiful place to stay to break away from the city. Would highly recommend for a group of friends just looking to have a good time and forget about the city life. Hosts are amazing! Very responsive and provides clear instructions for check in and check out. We will definitely be back when they put in the hot tub :) (currently a little swimming pool with the cottage)

It’s clear the creators poured their hearts into making this place unforgettable. The location was close to town and surrounded by world-class restaurants, wine farms, delightful boutiques, and art galleries. Overall, our stay was truly fantastic, an experience to remember!

We had a wonderful stay at Lonette’s place. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The aircon and pool were lovely as it was super hot! Our dog was also welcome which was an extra bonus! Lonette’s communication was excellent and check-in was easy. Thank you, Lonette!

A fabulous little cottage that was exactly what we were looking for. great fire for snug evenings in and lovely firepit and braai outside. The cottage was perfect for the dogs. Lovely trails to walk with the dogs and lots of amazing views. Stettyn vineyard 10mins down the road is also amazing! we loved every minute. a warm and cozy cottage.

If you’re looking for a 5 star farm stay, then this is it! We will definitely be back. Tammy is an amazing host, the finishing touches in the house are truly wonderful and the recommendations of things to do in the area were fantastic, not to mention the beautiful walks we did in the orchards and the incredible views. Most certainly one of our most favourite Airbnb stays to date.

Loved this place - it was SPOTLESS inside - and SO WARM with heated beds and an extra heater. Our lovely host in the restaurant Uzanne was a highlight - such a friendly face who looked after us so so well. We booked here for a quiet and private stay before visiting the Aquila Reserve - which I recommend as Aquila is crawling with kids!
