Holiday rentals with beach access in Bream Bay

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Absolutely loved staying at Sheenah's, the perfect spot for a solo dive weekend. This was a safe, cosy and gorgeous studio and I can't wait to come back.

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

The apartment was immaculate and stylish, with beautiful views of the water. Dianne and David were welcoming and friendly and helped make our stay memorable. We enjoyed the peaceful location and look forward to staying there again.

A great place to stay and a wonderful price of paradise! We stayed the weekend and were completely rained out... and still enjoyed our luxury escape and that's saying a lot.

We had a wonderful weekend and created some truly beautiful memories in this stunning home. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially during the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was modern, stylish and very practical, with a massive island bench that worked perfectly for our group. It made cooking and sharing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were readily available through the Airbnb app whenever we had questions, and they graciously allowed us a slightly later check-out as we were having such a beautiful weekend. The instructions for using the house facilities and checking out were clear and really helpful. The spa pool was amazing and added an extra layer of relaxation to an already perfect weekend. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. We stayed for a long weekend and loved the house and the location. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s even better in person, especially the amazing views! The house was a short walk to the beach and The Cove cafe. It was very clean, tidy and well appointed. The host was very flexible and accommodating which was appreciated. I would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Francie’s place is a wonderful place to stay, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We loved the short walk to Ruakaka beach - one of our favourite places! Francie was a fabulous host, very responsive to communication and so kind and accomodating to our children. We had a great time even through the weather bomb. We will be back :)

Absolutely beautiful ocean views! Had the most relaxing time away with friend and we came back refreshed! Waking up to the stunning sun rises and sound of the ocean did wonders. Plenty of swimming spots close to the house, and the house was clean, spacious and well stocked with all the kitchen essentials plus more! Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a spacious, modern house get away that’s private and close to beaches.

It truly is a tree house! Set on a steep hillside over a private beach. Watch out for slippery stairs after the rain. Very quirky 70s decor. Homely comfortable and modest. Wonderful views and the you can’t beat the roaring sound of the ocean. Wish the weather was better for swimming. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

Linda is a very responsive and helpful host and the place is very comfortable and well-equipped. Lots of little extras made us feel right at home.
