There is also a high chair in the accommodation. Gammelgården is located 5 km north of Finspång. The cottage is newly built in old style with moon windows, crystal chandelier and luxurious bedding. Lake view and boardwalk down to Bysjön, we have a small rowboat for guests. Loans of bicycles for lovely bike rides and loans of golf clubs, Finspång has 27 hole course with pay and play. We (Ingrid and Bill and the cats Tussilago and Pantufa )live on the farm in an old house from the 1750s with separate entrance and parking.

It’s hard to express just how much of a fantastic time my partner and I had at this stunning cottage in the Swedish countryside. The outdoor greenhouse was perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner and the hot tub was wonderful underneath the stars in peaceful surroundings. Nils left us a useful guidebook containing a wealth of information for local walks, hikes, activities and recommended restaurants, complete with clear instructions for navigation. We enjoyed a beautiful local nature reserve based on this. Two electric bikes were available for our use - this was a lovely touch which would enhance any stay. We travelled here primarily as it is within a 40 minute drive of Kolmården, which is probably the world’s best wildlife park and zoo, featuring one of the world’s highest ranked RMC rollercoasters. It’s also easy to reach this place from Stockholm via train to Nyköping, before a 10 minute drive to the property. A 10/10 Airbnb which we look forward to returning to in the future.

We liked staying with Johan very much, the location is really fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is also cozily furnished. Communication with Johan was super easy and he is very hospitable. We only had a small problem with ants, but that was not too bad. We were able to see many other animals and catch a few great fish in the lake! Highly recommended ☺️

Very cozy house, quiet and nice area. The hosts were very accommodating and went and bought charcoal for the grill that we asked for (it had been in the description, but they had missed it because airbnb had added it automatically). We are very pleased with our (short) stay and will gladly return!

Viveka is a great host who is caring, helpful, kind and nice. She is flexible and did her utmost to make us happy, which we also did. If you are thinking of visiting Kolmården and Bamse's world for two days, Viveka's cottage is perfect to rent. Our child loved the climbing frame in the yard, it was the icing on the cake!
