We stayed for one week. We loved how peaceful it was and the pool was much needed. The monkeys are the highlight - they come and go without any bother. Could watch them all day.

A nice property off the beaten path. It is a few miles out of Tamarindo with decent roads to get to the house. Beautiful nature surrounding the house. Carolina is very responsive and made our stay easy.

The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the whole house including Infiniti pool were so inviting we didn’t want to leave the house. Nice breeze most days as well. Ricardo was great at helping us arrange outings, including transportation. A car could be helpful to get around but we had a great local company that was able to take us everywhere we needed to go at a reasonable rate. The rain forest was a doable trip and there are numerous beaches within 15 minutes ride of the house. Loved our stay! It was also amazing to have breakfast included & prepared every morning and affordable dinners prepared at night as well.

casa de la felicidad is a great and beautiful option to stay close to a lot of beaches, very close to playa minas which is one of my favorite beaches in Costa Rica and it has its own private small pool. the hosts are really proactive to let you know of any problem they face and respond quickly to solve them, we had an ant nest and they let us know before we reached the house and took the required measures to solve it. would def recommend the place.

La vista al horizonte, con el mar en la distancia, es absolutamente impresionante, un espectáculo natural que nos dejó sin palabras. Cada amanecer y atardecer fueron momentos mágicos para disfrutar en familia. La piscina, otro gran punto a favor, fue deliciosa y perfecta para relajarse mientras apreciábamos el entorno. La tranquilidad y armonía que se respira en este lugar nos permitieron desconectarnos por completo y disfrutar cada instante. Definitivamente un lugar al que nos gustaría volver.

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

The best AirBnB ever! I was sad to leave this incredible home away from home. It has everything you need. Usually, rentals lack the right utensils, enough plates, etc… NOT THIS PLACE! This had everything and all the nice extras. I highly recommend this home for an incredible vacation experience. We were able to enjoy all that Playa Grande has to offer plus some other wonderful excursions that were short drives away. AMAZING! Ready to come back.

Una casa muy linda, muy limpia, tiene todo lo necesario y más, está a unos 35min de las mejores playas y el lugar donde se encuentra es bastante tranquilo. La anfitriona siempre atenta y responde prácticamente al momento. Lo único que le hace falta para que sea perfecto es que el parqueo sea cerrado, de resto ninguna queja.

We loved our week stay in Playa Hermosa. The view is amazing and the house was the perfect size for us. We loved the gym, deck and pool. Ian was super helpful with scheduling activities. The best part of our stay was definitely having Rebecca come every morning and make us the best breakfasts ever! She is a superstar and even helped us with our Spanish. We will definitely return and would highly recommend visiting!

We had a great stay in Playa Grande with our 3 young kids! This home is great for families, and a good setup for multiple families or a large group. We stayed for a month! Elad and Carmit were just a text away to handle anything that came up quickly. The place is modern, clean and well kept! The outdoor space is wonderful, it’s an easy walk to the beach and restaurants, and a quick drive to Tamarindo or other beaches and activities. We can’t express enough how awesome the beach is here, not overly crowded like Tamarindo. Carmit helped book transportation, sent lots of recommendations and was just beyond helpful during our stay. We love Playa Grande and this home. Looking forward to staying there again and seeing Carmit!

We spent three nights at Villa Senor Gato with a group of nine, and everyone absolutely loved the location. The house is in a perfect spot with stunning views. I practically had to drag the guys out—no one wanted to leave the pool! Seb was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We’re definitely coming back—Villa El Senor Gato made me fall in love with Costa Rica! ~ Pura Vida ~

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille à Jardin Escondido à Playa Grande… nous avons beaucoup aimé les espaces communs, la piscine, la salle de sport et la salle de jeux où nous avons bien profité du baby foot et de la table de ping pong. Jardin Escondido est très bien situé à Playa Grande, seulement 2 min en voiture de la plage où nous avons pu surfer tous les jours et profiter de magnifiques couchers de soleil!! Nous n’hésiterons pas une seule seconde à revenir à Jardin Escondido pour notre prochain voyage à Playa Grande!! Merci à vous tous pour votre flexibilité et votre disponibilité!! Wow! This place was amazing for our family’s stay in Costa Rica. The pool was a huge hit and we frequently came back mid day to refresh and then go get some dinner. The big double opening doors were awesome in the mornings to let in the sounds of the surrounding wildlife. One of our last nights we went to El Beach Club in playa grande and had an awesome meal. Definitely worth checking out if you stay here! Our kids loved the 2 Cats that seem to frequent the property and were super cute and pleasant. All in all don’t hesitate to stay here if you are looking at this area. It’s a bit of a drive to Tamarindo, but it is really nice at the end of the day to come back to the peace that this offers. We loved it! Great place and amazing hosts!

Our family of three had a lovely time. The home was very clean, comfortable and well located near two of our favorite beaches. It was private but we didn’t feel isolated. Absolutely loved the architecture and lounge areas. Great kitchen, bathrooms and amenities. Claire was very responsive and always accessible. Highly recommend!

This place was pristine! Whoever designed this home had excellent attention to detail. The landscape has grown in nicely since the pictures were taken so the property was even more beautiful than expected. With no adjacent rear neighbor, the trees, foliage and wildlife behind the home are beautiful. In fact, there is only one home adjacent to the property but and it's separated by a pretty good privacy fence. Loved the small surf town of Playa Grande as well!

Phenomenal stay! Stop searching and book this place—seriously. This house is absolutely spectacular—pictures don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful and serene it is. The view? Unreal. Just breathtaking. It’s only a minute walk to the beach and a charming local restaurant, and just 5 minutes to town and stores. Benton was amazing—responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. He connected us with a private chef, in-home massages, and local excursions, making everything effortless and personal. We loved watching the wildlife—colorful frogs at night and giant lizards during the day—and the pool was the perfect temperature 24/7. This home is perfect for couples looking for total privacy, but we can’t wait to return with our kids next time. My husband and I travel frequently, and this was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thank you, Benton, for such an unforgettable stay. We’ll be back—and we’re already telling our friends around the world to book your place too!

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. Lots of wild at the house too! Pura Vida

Me encantó la casa conteiner! Fuimos a descansar con mi pareja y dos perritas y estuvo increíble. Amé demasiado la piscina y el deck. Y me fascinaron muchos detalles de la casa como azulejos de cocina, baño, puertas corredizas. Hermoso lugar tranquilo para disfrutar y/o descansar. Me quedé con ganas de quedarme más días así que seguramente volveremos!

This Airbnb is the perfect place to disconnect. The area is super quiet—ideal for relaxing and recharging. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Rodrigo was an amazing host—always attentive, quick to respond, and thoughtful about every detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the stay great.
