Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Brantôme

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Very nice quiet house with two large bedrooms. There were a few basic products missing in the kitchen (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardening), with the possibility of tractors being present.

We had a super nice stay with Daniel and Claire, beautiful gite with welcome swimming pool, beautiful surroundings for walking and cycling, but especially the peace and waking up with only the sound of the birds was super enjoyable for us, our dog Ziggy also enjoyed and felt very welcome. In short, highly recommended!

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We were 7 adults and animals. First of all, I thank Agnès for accepting several animals, it's very rare. Everyone was delighted with this house, clean, well heated (December), the rooms were large, simple and relaxing decoration. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a small stock of pasta and coffee to help out if you have to stay several days and have to go shopping. Spacious living room. Only small downside: the toilet in the hallway does not lock and the toilet seat was moving, it was not very practical. If I had the opportunity to return to the area I would gladly rent this house again.

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was in heaven. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

Spacious, well appointed and clean. The castle estate offers a beautiful, peaceful and green setting. Olivier is welcoming and makes himself available to requests that may be made to him. The accommodation is conveniently located, lots of interesting tours nearby. Overall a lovely stay at this cottage.

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities in the area. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. Everything was explained to us from the arrival with a small recap booklet, restaurants, activities to do in the area. A little corner of paradise, we'll be back! Thank you

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Very nice accommodation in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses are fragrant and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Lovely stay at Le Petit Grenier! A lovely little gite with everything you need and a super arrivals food pack to get you going! Great to be given pool towels too. The gite is in a wonderful location and the grounds are beautiful. The pool area is super and so nice to relax next too after a hot day out cycling /canoeing / exploring. Joanne and Martin are great hosts and invited us and other guests to a welcome evening with a charcuterie/cheese board, with many suggestions for places to visit and helpful advice. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again another year.
