Gorgeous Gite in Dordogne, Private Pool & Fibre

The gite was lovely and Lynn and Nicola were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because my elderly husband had banged his head on the low doorway (despite it being labelled as low), stunned him and cut his head open. In view of his history of subdural haematoma this was worrying. And then he missed the low step into the bedroom and went flying, injuring his hand and chin. We thought it too risky to stay on but this was our problem, not the gite's. We were really sorry to have to leave. The garden was ideal for our dogs. The neighbourhood was pretty, and historic with some nice walks. We enjoyed exploring the countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend the gite although perhaps not so much for people with limited mobility.

We stayed a couple of nights at Gladys holiday home. It’s in a great location for the area we wanted to explore. We were meeting friends who were doing a 30 day cycle ride across France so it was great that the home was as described as they had access to a washing machine. Really spacious communal area, great that we all had our own en suite. David showed us around on arrival and where the pool, BBQ and boules area was. They were very welcoming, very accommodating of us using the washing machine. We had a lovely stay,

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. Very well located accommodation for visiting the sites. The riverbank is enchanting. There is nothing missing in the accommodation for an ideal stay
