Catherine was a wonderful host. Breakfast was great and Catherine went over and beyond to accommodate, including preparing a delicious early breakfast. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

CarrigView, 1st floor private 2 bedroom apartment.

Eu RiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at CarrigView! The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. But what really made the experience special were our hosts, Larry and Maura—they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. A highlight for us was their lovely dogs, Bailey and Rocky, who quickly became fast friends with our son. Watching them play together brought so much joy to our trip. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely love to return one day and would highly recommend CarrigView to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again, Larry, Maura and Tony for such a memorable stay!

Laura's house was spotless and in a good quiet location handy to all amenities. She was an excellent host and eager to help or assist. Would definitely recommend and if needing future accommodation in the area again wouldn't hesitate to use if available.

Fern Hollow

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Driving along narrow roads with high hedgerows and handsome gated homes, we discovered Helen's home in a beautiful, equestrian oriented, lush part of the countryside. Not accessible by public transport, it is however close to Punchestown Racecourse and near to the internationally renowned, The Curragh Racecourse. Helen was receptive to our messages and on hand to greet us. She gave advice on where to dine at that hour on a Sunday. Eating in her guestroom is not allowed. The bed in this room was huge compared to others we'd encountered in Ireland, and we slept soundly. There are drawers, a coat rack is the only hanging space. The bathroom is a couple of steps down. There is a sunken bath in the photos but it is not in use, just the walk-in shower. Breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, cereal and a pot of tea/coffee is enjoyed in her warm kitchen, and conservatory, before kind farewells.

Maurice's place was a beautiful home to stay in. It was spotless and very comfortable, and Maurice was such a responsive host especially with his recommendations of where to dine. Although we only stayed one night, we would return given the opportunity.

Huntington Castle

KristaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Alexander was very friendly and helpful. He gave us loads of information about the castle and property. He welcomed us and helped us find a nice restaurant for supper. The atmosphere at the castle is amazing. Full of antiques and rich in history. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. You actually have the castle experience and I cannot tell you enough to book it. Worth every penny! The history of his family for 400 years is so amazing. Breakfast was delicious.
