Family-friendly holiday rentals in Borrego Springs

Very nice and quiet home close to town but far enough away to be more private. The house was well maintained with lots of windows and an abundance of natural light. Jayne was very communicative, friendly, and helpful.

I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and it was exactly the peaceful experience I needed in such a hectic week! We spent so much time lounging around chatting, enjoying the view & the outdoors. Sooooo so so calm and quiet.

We loved our stay at Courtney's beautiful farmhouse! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The Roost was extra special for added room and entertainment. The pool table in the garage got lots of use along with the tire swing for my grandsons! We appreciated this dog-friendly property. Our Treeing Walker Coonhound basked in the mountain air and all those creature smells! The welcome trays were lovely too. We want to return!

Place and location were awesome. Highly recommended. Well done!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great central location for exploring different parts of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. It had everything we needed and made for a relaxing and convenient home base after long days of hiking.

This place is just amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. The horses are so friendly and feel very comfortable. The jacuzzi was the best part. Very private and to soak and relax in such surroundings made it great. Kimberley was very quick to respond and if we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time glamping! The location of the camping spot is perfect. It was close to the bathroom and showers and very quiet. The campsite has 3 tents with beds, a covered cooking section with everything you need and some tree 'hammocks'. I'm not sure what to call them but they are mesh platforms in the air between the trees. They are perfect for sleeping and star gazing. They were a highlight of the trip! Perfect for kids. Shantal met us the first day and went over everything and then came back the second day to see how we got on and if we had any questions. This was really nice. Only drawback is it's a bit expensive. All in all we had a great time.

I had a wonderful experience staying here! Lovely place with everything you could need inside, and an amazing patio with an unbeatable view. We had peacocks and alpacas to greet us almost every morning! Only 15 min from downtown Ramona which has some super cute shops and restaurants. Wendy was a great host- very kind and responsive. Was very hard to leave, I hope to come back one day!

If you enjoy peace and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of even a small city, and incredible views from your bedroom window, this place is a must stay! Victoria, our host did a great of communicating and working us to make sure we had all of the necessary details in advance of when we needed them and the house has all you’ll need for your time there. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely choose to stay here in the future.

My friends and I spent the weekend in Julian here, and it was perfect! We loved the game room and the home had a lot of character.

We absolutely love this cottage. As regulars to Julian, this is one of our favorites! Cris is so incredibly welcoming and makes everything so special. The space is small, but it works! We are a family of 4.. cooked dinner in most nights, hung out on the porch and in the back yard. Enjoyed the quiet time together. Can't wait to be back!

This place was the most peaceful cabin for our family. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings were quiet and private. Kitchen was well appointed and mini patio was accommodating. We really enjoyed our time!

My daughters and I had a lovely time during our stay. We enjoyed the private location and quaint town nearby. We are looking forward to getting away for a vacation and coming back. We would love to explore the trails nearby and more of Julian. Renee was amazing and attentive. We stayed in the cabin below her and her cute dog, Feathers, and the sound was minimal and did not bother us at all. She dropped off extra blankets for my girls and left them at the front porch, without our request. I really appreciated that! Thank you for your great hospitality! I recommend this location as it feels right at home.

This was such a beautiful spot! The photos didn’t do the place justice. Natalie has done an amazing job with upgrading the cabin and ensuring her guests have a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and very cozy. She had all the amenities listed (and more). The location was peaceful and exactly what me and my family needed! The swing was our favorite part! I saw my in laws jump on and the smiles on their faces made the trip. I recommend this for anyone looking for a nice “home” away from the city! Natalie was a great host! She was very responsive, kind and answered any questions. She’s amazing.

This is our second time staying at Charles place in Borrego Springs. It’s the perfect chill spot to come to after a long day of hiking in the desert, especially with the pool! The place is spacious, clean, stocked, and in a nice area. Charles is a great host, gave clear instructions, and was super responsive. Cannot wait to stay here again!

Jill was a great host and very responsive. The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to prepare a Christmas Day meal. The beds were comfortable. The town ofJulian was very nice with bakeries and of course the well known bake pies. The restaurant, Jeremy’s on the Hill, were very accommodating and we could sit on the patio, that had heaters, with our small dogs.

Awesome. Best place we've stayed. Great for one or two couples. Everything you'd need. Host was super helpful and friendly. House was very clean. Will definitely stay here again!!!

This is a great two-bedroom cottage. The property is located not too far shops and restaurants, but you will need a vehicle to get around. Jessica was very kind and made us feel right at home. The cottage is peaceful and private. The yard is spacious which my pups enjoyed tremendously. I recommend staying here.
