Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary weekend. As we didn't want to travel to far, what an amazing place it is. You can walk into Clitheroe within no time at all along a lovely Nature reserve if you wish or just along the road. We had an amazing meal at Tom's Table. Just sitting outside on the decking listening to the river flow by was so relaxing and you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. We will be visiting again. Highly recommend for a peaceful break with the option of a lovely village with lots of lovely places to eat and drink.

We had a lovely night in the cabin, Su was flexible with check in. Cabin was lovely as was The Swan Inn, just up the road

Lovely little place, perfect for a get away break. The hottub was great to relax in. The goats are gorgeous and so friendly. The family dog was a welcome visitor. Amazing to sit and listen to the birds and look at the beautiful scenery.

Folks travelling to Moorland, this is the place to stay. Get in the farmland, lose yourself unto nature. Heavens fall here. Special mention of the sheep and Cheddar, the cheesecat. Children enjoyed their hearts out with them. We rolled on the meadows, walked around and mesmerized every moment. Suzanne was very kind and helpful. She gave us extra utensils to cook a basic meal for my children. The outdoor cooking unit was great. Though its very windy, still the gas worked really well. Moorland and Serenity will be etched on our minds forever. We definitely recommend to all. Please come and stay.

My son and I stayed at Dot’s Shepherd’s Hut over half-term, and saying we loved it would be an understatement. It’s the perfect base for exploring the hills - just step outside and you’re surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fire in the evenings, toasting s’mores under the stars. Seeing the smile on his face made it worth every penny. If you’re looking to spend real quality time with your children and get them away from screens and PlayStations, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Perfect for the two nights stay I needed. The pod was well equipped and nicely fitted out. Everything worked well Mecheles directions were great and I liked the little extra touches such as biscuits!

This was the fifth time we've stayed here. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. Great having the animals around and fab views from the hut. You'll be spoilt for choice of the number of walks straight from the far. John is a great host, he always pops by to say hello and check in. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice and peaceful get away, lovely surroundings and the lodge was spot on with what was shown on pictures, everything from bed to hot tub was immaculate, overall 10/10 stay, can’t wait to come again

We had an amazing stay at Peacock hut in Diggle with absolutely stunning views. The hut was everything we could have wished for. It’s very well equipped, has a super comfy bed & a nice hot shower. Lovely walks nearby & would definitely recommend a trip to Diggle Lock cafe. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place if you’re after a nice relaxed break. We’ll be back again & hopefully this time it won’t be raining & we can make use of the bbq & fire pit.

Lovely little place for our mini getaway. Set in gorgeous and private location, we even had the pleasure of seeing deer, rabbits, ducks and the farm dogs during our stay. The toilet was a little different than we are use to but did not impact our stay. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Cabin 3 - very private. The views and surroundings (especially the sheep!) were amazing and felt so peaceful. Hot tub was perfect, the cabin was very clean and stocked with plenty of toiletries, bottled water, kitchen supplies and even board games! It was nice to have a phone free weekend as there’s no signal or wifi but I’d recommend maybe downloading some films to watch just for the night time. We hope to come again, thank you for the wonderful stay :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless and beautifully presented. The place is lovely, with facilities that are second to none – the amazing TV and top-quality coffee machine were definite highlights for me and my wife. Travelling with our 14-week-old baby, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. The peaceful surroundings were just what we needed, and every detail had been thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hot tub was great – spotless, warm, and the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. Fiona was a fantastic host – so warm and welcoming. She even cleaned the hot tub for us every morning, which we really appreciated. It’s the little touches, like the delicious cookies she left for us, that really made the difference. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you, Fiona, for such a memorable stay!

We had a lovely stay. It was my partner and I’s first trip away and we had our doggie too! Instructions were very clear and was able to find the lodge easily when using What3Words. The lodge was in impeccable condition and we were welcomed with some milk, butter, bread and doggie treats! Thank you so much! Gorgeous area that we’d like to return to one day! Highly recommend. A wonderful little cabin in the garden to stay in. The area was so quiet which I appreciated. Alyson was a lovely host and I very much appreciated the breakfast amenities and snack box. Highly recommend for a short stay

The farm barn was a cosy and delightful space. Beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Alison gave clear instructions of how to find the barn and was very responsive. Fabulous peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. Fab pub , the Turkey Inn a short walk away , that does great food. Would highly recommend and will stay again. Lorraine and Paddy 😊

We absolutely adored our stay in the Little Barn. We felt so at home there. Everything about it was really comfortable - the sofa, the bed (REALLY comfy!), the furnishings, and the warmth of the place (good heating). The kitchen had all that we needed, and we loved being able to use the outdoor pizza oven, enjoying homemade pizzas and a bottle of Prosecco on the last night (Rebecca had very kindly left us the Prosecco and lots of other lovely things; eggs, coffee capsules for the coffee machine, some lovely chocolate - thank you so much!). The surroundings are really cool - the moors are so different to what we’re used to (coming from Hampshire/Surrey) and the walks through them and out onto the Dales were just spectacular. The view from the cottage was very cute; sheep and rabbits nearby. The cottage has books in it with great suggestions as to what to do/where to go, which we used to plan our outings. Truly a wonderful stay and we will definitely be coming back!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the country, on the doorstep to Hardraw Force and within easy walking distance to Hawes. Our stay came with a fantastic breakfast and staying in the shepherds hut in the Dales was truly a unique experience that you’ll struggle to find anywhere else.

Great stay at quirky cottage! Very peaceful location with nature nearby on surrounding walks. Steep ladder for access to bed, not a large amount of storage space for luggage

We picked to stay at Steve’s Annexe due to attending a wedding over the road at Skipbridge Farm - and we’re so glad we did! After a long journey up from down South (with our 4 month old) we felt at home as soon as we arrived. It was easy to find due to Steve’s instructions, clean, comfy and very peaceful.

The most lovely little shepards hut. We got the train to hebden bridge and was only a 15/20 minute walk. The actual shepherds hut was gorgeous with loads of space outside with sheep, alpacas and chickens. Madeline was such a lovely host and so quick to respond when needed, she gave us everything we would have needed and so kind and lovely. we came here for our 4 year anniversary and it was perfect !
