We had a lovely stay at Oliver farm! It was exactly as the photos, very clean, with plenty of toys and games for the kids, which we found a nice touch. It was very easy to find, located in a beautiful, quiet no through lane. Close to foot paths, a tea room. It is also close Askam bar park and ride for trips to York. I would highly recommend Oliver farm and I hope to be back soon, Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely place to stay! We were just passing through for a night, but we really wished we had time to stop and explore, the outdoor spaces looked amazing and a great place to spend a weekend.

Sophie is a great host, friendly and welcoming, and very responsive to any queries. The information book she provided in the flat was very helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The flat was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, in a beautiful quiet setting. The patio was a lovely sun trap in the evenings for a drink with stunning views! The local village shop was well stocked with both essentials and a deli counter, and the butcher had a lovely bakery as well as a selection of homemade meals and the best steak we’ve ever had! We ate out one night at the local pub and had a really good meal. There also seems to be a really good bus service that runs regularly through the day if you needed it, but from here you are within easy reach of places to visit like Robin Hood’s bay, Whitby, the coast and the beautiful North York moors. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful flat, full of beautiful original features. It's so spacious and our kids loved staying in the castle! We had everything we needed and Caroline was great at keeping in touch. Many thanks Caroline!

Had a wonderful stay. Lindsey was extremely kind and attentive, offering us bread and milk for our stay. There was a large range of breakfast items provided. Overall I cannot recommend enough!

Molly and Dean's s place was just perfect for my daughter and I - a beautiful, comfortable "home from home" place! We had everything we needed and the place was filled with lovely thoughtful items that we both really appreciated. The kitchen had all the necessities and the addition of tea/coffee/milk/bread/butter/jam/hot chocolate felt like a very lovely gesture. The location was just what I hoped for and we had a great time! Excellent couple days at Howee Inn. Perfect for a couple, very clean and everything you need. Lovely view from small patio across beautiful garden and to landscape beyond. Pam and husband very welcoming and were very helpful to us while we were visiting an elderly relative. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. Cross Keys pub short walk away and was perfect for the Saturday evening.

The accommodation was just lovely. extremely clean and comfortable and in a very peaceful setting. Everything was perfect.

The place was lovely and cosy for the evening. The best part was actually the garden with the egg chair, the zen garden and the water feature. It was so relaxing I could have sat there all night. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely outstanding property…and Host. Even before arriving Lisa kept in touch with detailed directions & check in procedure. The Studio has the ‘wow’ factor as soon as you enter. Everything is top quality and the studio has been designed to a very high spec with great attention to detail. The views from the outdoor seating area are amazing …..such a peaceful and relaxing place to sit. Lisa was the perfect host. She came to say Hello as we arrived and told us just to get in touch if we needed anything. She has thought of all the little touches that make a stay so enjoyable….welcome breakfast basket, hairdryer, iron, Bluetooth speaker…right down to the finer details such as towel warmer, hooks for towels right next to shower door, information booklets etc etc. We visited The Plough (a lovely local pub)and Eskdale Fisheries (excellent) both within walking distance. A perfect base from which to visit Whitby, Scarborough etc. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay.

The location was ideal - away from the busy road nearby, making it private and quiet, but close enough that you could walk into town or to nearby restaurants. The space itself was clean, tidy, and had all the utensils and cutlery we needed for our stay. It felt very homely. Joanne was excellent at responding to messages, doing so in a very short time span and with a helpful, friendly attitude. Overall, our week was just what we needed - very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Crystal and Andy’s place, it had everything we could need We got out into the wonderful surrounding countryside each day and enjoyed discovering new places. With lots of other places we would like to explore on future trips to the area. Crystal, Andy, Reuben and Delancey were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to see and hear the children playing and enjoying the sunny weather And thanks for the wonderful banana bread

We had a wonderful stay at Ian and Lois’s self-contained guest suite. Every detail was carefully thought out, and the space was spotless and extremely comfortable. The amenities were exactly what we needed and more! Their guest guide was incredibly helpful, especially the recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants, which we loved. The location was also perfect, with such an easy and scenic drive into the city centre. Ian and Lois were fantastic hosts, welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

An Exceptional Stay – Perfect for Bikers and a Peaceful Getaway We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chris & Nikki’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Both hosts went above and beyond – genuine, friendly people who couldn’t do enough for us. As fellow bikers, they truly understood our needs and even made space in their garage so our bikes could be stored safely and securely. That kind of thoughtfulness really made all the difference. The home itself is in an idyllic spot – peaceful, scenic, and perfectly located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. It was the ideal base for our countryside rides. One thing we particularly appreciated was the “no kids, no pets” policy. It’s rare these days to find a place that caters to adults seeking a bit of peace without the added chaos – it gave the whole stay a much more relaxing vibe. A special shout-out to Chris for lending a helping hand when I ran into an issue with my bike – he stepped in

A lovely place to stay - very clean, comfortable and quiet. The apartment is very on trend and well equipped with everything you could need. Only a few minutes walk into town but very peaceful with a nice little patio area to sit outside. Ripon is a lovely town with a beautiful cathedral. One little problem with the TV (due to our technical incompetence!) was quickly resolved by Liz's son). No hesitation in recommending

A beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean, responsive friendly host, and everything you could possibly need for an amazing break away. Also very child friendly! We stayed with our 4 month old and the property had everything we needed!

This little cottage was lovely, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Excellent response to any questions by Hazel. Sadly the local pub had closed down, but we drove a few minutes over to The Plough at Fulford and had an excellent meal.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, very bright and airy yet cosy and private. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds are as comfortable as you could ever want. Jonathan was keen to give us a tour of the old mill and share the history of this fascinating piece of industry history which he working to keep alive. There are many beautiful locations and walks in the surrounding area and having this beautiful home to come back to after a day in the dales was such a treat. Would definitely stay again
