Cottage holiday rentals in Bordeaux

We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had a good stay in the Sheepfold, everything is in accordance with the photos. The bedding is great, the jacuzzi too! The capricious weather did not allow us to fully enjoy the terraces yet very pleasant. Perfect for being quiet, nevertheless need to take the car to enjoy the surrounding sites. Very nice renovation!

We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

We had a great stay in your house, 4 couples and 1 single person, plenty of room for everyone, the 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets are highly appreciable. Air conditioning for each room for everyone's comfort. A perfectly maintained exterior, the pool was highly appreciated and the grills around the sheltered barbecue a wonderful idea to get through the rain. We would highly recommend your rental. We would also like to thank your friend who welcomed us very pleasantly on Friday with a smile

Impeccable house, a real peaceful corner, with a very nice garden, jacuzzi pool and all outdoor amenities. We met as a family and organized my daughter's baptism and the meal on the beautiful terrace, everyone was delighted with the environment and the house. Impeccable cleanliness, responsive host, we were even able to enter the premises a little earlier, the hosts were very accommodating. I recommend it for nice gatherings with family or friends! Only one small downside, it lacked some basic items, such as coffee, sugar, for example. We had to go and buy coffee and sugar in a hurry in the evening for our breakfast the next day.

Perfect stay! Accommodation located in a small quiet village but nevertheless lively in summer and with all the necessary amenities (bakery, pharmacy, Intermarché nearby). Ideal location for ocean lovers and bike rides, halfway between Bordeaux and the Bassin d 'Arcachon. Laure is a very friendly and responsive host. An extra emphasis on cleanliness would be a plus (closet handles and some utensils were dirty upon arrival). Otherwise, everything was great 👍

The stay with the family was great, at the beginning there was a misunderstanding through airnbn listings, the entire place was offered, when we arrived we found out that it was a room in a family house. Great , Marie and family are great to recommend, we will be happy to come back

Beautiful place - fantastic host!

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, close to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us excellent advice on visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

The apartment is as described and very clean. Very well equipped. Communication with the host was perfect. Everything was true! I recommend it.

We were together as a family for a unfortunately very rainy Easter weekend. But the space is spacious, the rooms are large and everything went well. Very satisfied with the cottage we already knew, under beautiful sunshine and we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden, well equipped.

Cute little cabin with everything you need. Marie sent very detailed information in advance, so we found everything well. The location is great for excursions to the region or to the beach.

We loved staying at the house, the pool area in particular was fantastic- nice and warm and lots of space around the pool for sun loungers. The garden was also really lovely particuarly the seating and being able to walk through the woods behind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were also very responsive always answering queries straight away. We would have liked some more local recommendations but i believe they are being pulled together. Thanks for a great stay

Excellent stay. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. The bedding is of very good quality and the kitchen has everything you need. The decoration of the cottage is neat and pretty and contributes to the charm of this beautiful old house. Bénédicte and Jean-Roland are friendly and available hosts. We had homemade cupcakes and a bouquet of flowers waiting for us upon arrival. We were also able to charge the e-bike during the stay and safely store the bikes. A place to remember.

Xavier and Stephanie's house was an excellent house for a family holiday which we just had with our 8 and 9 year olds. It is located down a beautiful quiet road outside Libourne on the banks of the Dordogbe. We used car/bicycle to get very easy access to shops and restaurants. We could cycle to the boulangerie and market in Libourne in the mornings to get fresh food and it was also a very scenic cycle to Saint-Émilion which is just 25 to 30 mins on bike or 10mins by car. The house is really spacious with a big area for the kids to play outside or for anyone to relax or eat on the outdoor seats and furniture. It is really private and peaceful with the lots of birdsong and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Xavier and Stephanie thought of everything in the house. The sheets and towels and kitchen crockery and utensils were of excellent quality. This was one of the best holidays we ever had and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you for everything!

We had a great weekend at Sabine's property, who welcomed the first arrivals in a very friendly way, even offering us delicate gourmet treats for our arrival! The house is huge. The green space is also very well maintained. All in a very peaceful hamlet. The bedding is excellent, spread across 5 beautiful bedrooms arranged in a row upstairs. Ideal place for a quiet retreat for several days. Having breakfast in front of the house, facing the park and the sun, was an incomparable family moment. Shops are 3 or 4 minutes' drive away if needed. In short, even though we were not able to fully enjoy the house, because we were staying in the area to participate in a family event, we will not forget this excellent place and Sabine's kindness. To be booked without a second thought! Jp

Carolyn’s gîte was absolutely perfect! It is beautiful and the ideal location for a peaceful stay while still being close to Saint Émilion and other beautiful towns as well as only 50 minutes from Bordeaux. Carolyn is a wonderful host who was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. She offered us lots of recommendations and we felt like we were friends immediately. The gîte is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with everything you need during your stay. It is spacious and suited our three generation family holiday which was incredibly important to us. I can’t thank Carolyn enough for hosting us and would highly recommend her gîte for anyone looking to stay near Saint Émilion for any length of time. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We had a wonderful week with our 2 children. There is little to do at first sight, but an hour away you have a lot of different activities. Really everything was available in the house with very nice pool and swimming toys! Karine made us feel like home and gave us all the privacy. Definitely recommended.
