Cottage holiday rentals in Bordeaux

We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had a good stay in the Sheepfold, everything is in accordance with the photos. The bedding is great, the jacuzzi too! The capricious weather did not allow us to fully enjoy the terraces yet very pleasant. Perfect for being quiet, nevertheless need to take the car to enjoy the surrounding sites. Very nice renovation!

We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

Impeccable house, a real peaceful corner, with a very nice garden, jacuzzi pool and all outdoor amenities. We met as a family and organized my daughter's baptism and the meal on the beautiful terrace, everyone was delighted with the environment and the house. Impeccable cleanliness, responsive host, we were even able to enter the premises a little earlier, the hosts were very accommodating. I recommend it for nice gatherings with family or friends! Only one small downside, it lacked some basic items, such as coffee, sugar, for example. We had to go and buy coffee and sugar in a hurry in the evening for our breakfast the next day.

Perfect stay! Accommodation located in a small quiet village but nevertheless lively in summer and with all the necessary amenities (bakery, pharmacy, Intermarché nearby). Ideal location for ocean lovers and bike rides, halfway between Bordeaux and the Bassin d 'Arcachon. Laure is a very friendly and responsive host. An extra emphasis on cleanliness would be a plus (closet handles and some utensils were dirty upon arrival). Otherwise, everything was great 👍

Cindy was a friendly host and keen to help from the start. The property is in a peaceful location, near the beach and a good base to explore the Arcachon Bay area. Inside is unfussy, comfortable and well equipped for a longer stay. The kitchen, dining and lounge is one space. For 2 people it worked well, though I’m not sure how it would work for groups using the sofa bed as the bathroom and WC is also off this main area. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to hang and store clothes. The garden is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun with plenty of seating options. We didn’t use the hot tub during our stay, but if you like a hot tub, then it’s quite private. We stayed with our small dog and we felt he was safe and secure within the garden throughout our stay. There are many excellent restaurants and bars in the area and a number of them are within very easy walking distance. We would recommend a visit to the oyster cabanes at Andernos-les-Bains.

Janine's property suited us perfectly. Walks from the property, supermarket (very good) nearby, award-winning pastry chef not too far away..... Bourg is a beautiful and interesting place and some of the Côte de Bourg wines are exceptional. Well located for Blaye - the citadel, the cliff, the ferry to cross the Gironde. The house is warm and cozy, but the electricity needs a little update, which we think will happen in the near future. The garden was perfect for dogs and there are great views from the patio which, in hot weather, would probably have been contemplated at leisure! Janine is friendly and responds quickly. We rarely go back to the properties but this could be an exception! A big thank you Janine and - maybe - see you soon.

The stay with the family was great, at the beginning there was a misunderstanding through airnbn listings, the entire place was offered, when we arrived we found out that it was a room in a family house. Great , Marie and family are great to recommend, we will be happy to come back

Beautiful place - fantastic host!

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, close to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us excellent advice on visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

We were together as a family for a unfortunately very rainy Easter weekend. But the space is spacious, the rooms are large and everything went well. Very satisfied with the cottage we already knew, under beautiful sunshine and we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden, well equipped.

7 of my extended family and I stayed at Christel and Marie’s house. We had an amazing stay, using the house as a base to visit the area but also to relax by their wonderful pool. The house is large and spacious and suitable for all ages. The description is very accurate and the house itself as everything you need, a home away from home. We also used their bbq and ping pong table! We were able to visit Bordeaux, Cap Ferret and Lacanau with ease. The area is very quiet with no traffic and a local supermarket only 5 mins away. With 3 families, we had 2 cars that fitted fine on their property. The communication was excellent and they answered all our queries quickly and we met Marie in person, who was very friendly! We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We would love to come again!

A little corner of paradise! We had a wonderful week in Elodie's accommodation, which faces the forest (with many birds to observe). It has everything we needed, as well as a quiet and cozy atmosphere. I recommend this accommodation without hesitation and especially a big thank you to Elodie who was always full of good advice, radiant and very pleasant :)

The accommodation offered by Françoise is even better than in the photos, and it's rare enough to point it out. We only spent one night, but the accommodation was very clean when we arrived. The house is very functional and very well renovated. No complaints, perfect!

Very comfortable, clean, quiet accommodation in a pretty village that allows for beautiful walks and in the summer, which offers a restaurant at the foot of the oyster cliffs to have a glass of local wine. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated during our heatwave weekend. Agnès provided us with all the necessary information for our arrival and departure.

We were delighted with the accommodation offered by Benjamin to spend a night there before our flight the next day, the airport is 5 minutes away. Benjamin was flexible for our arrival and departure, advised us on good places to eat, and the accommodation was clean. We will gladly come back if the opportunity arises, accompanied by our two children.

I 100% recommend Antony's accommodation. Everything is done to make you feel good, very calm and peaceful. Big plus for the landscaped garden and the toy room if you go with children. Many nearby restaurants, bakery, and supermarkets. Antony is very responsive so that the stay is as pleasant as possible. I'll go back there from time to time.
