Holiday rentals in Bohol

The house was open from the sea and had a beautiful view from the room. A place with a special atmosphere, very comfortable and spacious. Quiet neighborhood, scooter ride to the center. Very warm service, especially one of the ladies who welcomed us, was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite the small wifi glitch, a portable router with an internet card was brought just for us, which shows a lot of commitment to the service. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. All this makes us want to go back.

Amazing stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. The host was super responsive and helpful. We loved the neighborhood and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bohol. Can't wait to come back!

If you’re looking for a vacation home, or a place to escape this is it. The Villa is solar powered so if you’re big on saving energy this is a plus. The rooms look exactly as described and exactly as shown. It was squeaky clean and beautiful. The pools are amazing, fresh water and warm. I was swimming morning, afternoon and evening! The staff is exceptional. The coordinator Rhocyl, the house manager Jacky, our sweet awesome driver Biloy, and Chef Dario along with the other staff members - they all went over and beyond with accommodating & helping us and making us feel at home. I felt comfortable and secure with the staff. Jacky was quick to accommodate last minute requests and Biloy happily drove us everywhere 😇 I know that I have a place to return to when I come to Panglao and it’s Villa Tawala My only wish, is that we take the crew along with us to our other destinations but I’m sure they would be missed! We stayed at VAB Guesthouse for 4 nights and had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s a peaceful and cozy place—perfect for anyone looking to unwind. We had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Veronica on our last night. She was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. Even in that short time, it was clear how much she cares about her guests and takes pride in the home she provides. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate Ms. Veronica’s hospitality. We’d definitely recommend VAB Guesthouse to anyone visiting Bohol.

The House of the Rising Sun was perfect for our group of 10 (9 adults and 1 child). Chris was responsive from the time that I was inquiring about many things before the actual booking, to the time that we were already in Bohol. He made practical suggestions that enabled us to maximize our time in Bohol. The van service provided by the Airbnb was a dealbreaker for us, because this made the airport transfers, the tours and the transportation to and from the beach and the restaurants so much easier (and cheaper!). The house itself was spacious and clean, and it came with all the creature comforts that one would expect from a good airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and again this was a major plus for Paul and Chris' place since we did not want to be at the beach all day long. Thank you, Chris, for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect place to chill and bond with family and friends.

I had a great stay at this property. It felt very secure from the moment I arrived, with an enclosed area before reaching the house. There was one outdoor camera overlooking the pool, which added a nice sense of security without being intrusive. The house itself was clean, modern, and clearly built with care. The bed was super comfortable, and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked. The location was quiet, private, and tucked away in a peaceful local neighborhood. On the way in, you pass by kids riding bikes and friendly neighbors, which added to the charm. Andy was very communicative and helpful throughout the stay. The local staff member on-site was kind and made everything run smoothly. Other guests in nearby villas were friendly and respectful, adding to the overall good energy of the place. The only minor drawback is the unpaved road leading to the villa, which can be a little tricky. Still, everything else more than made up for it. I would absolutely stay here again.

2 rooms can be used independently There is only one bathroom, The living room was spacious and the kitchen was large. It was great to use as a meeting space The swimming pool was also clean and beautiful. (I've never used it, but heh heh) It was a Netflix TV, so it was good to watch and space out. The entrance road is an unpaved road, so be careful of the curves when using the bike. There are many chickens and goats because there is a local residential area nearby. I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the rooster, but I slept well. The check-in process wasn't clear, but the host responded right away, so check-in was easy. It would be better if you let me know how to check in in advance. The towel was too old. I think it would be nice to bring a personal towel, and it was convenient to request a replacement and they replaced it right away. 👍 Because it's a structure facing the front room If there are booked customers in another room, it might be a little annoying. We wrote it among ourselves and used it well without any inconvenience.
