Family-friendly holiday rentals in Böhmerwald

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

The place was amazing. The location is very secluded and therefore very quiet. You are immersed in nature and have no neighborhood. The property is ideal for groups. The ambiance is also very nice - a pretty mixture of old and modern. The amenities are very good all around. We especially liked the sauna, the hot tub and the versatile barn. We highly recommend it and will be happy to come back.

Very nice and high-quality furnished chalet. We lacked nothing, neither the equipment of the kitchen nor that of the other rooms left anything to be desired. The location and the surrounding nature are indescribably beautiful and invite you to take both shorter walks and longer hikes. Tourist "hotspots" such as the treetop path are also easy to reach by car. Another highlight is the wellness equipment, which was really easy to use after a short introduction. The combination of sauna and whirlpool ensures total relaxation and recovery from everyday life. The cleanliness of the chalet and the furnishings should be emphasized. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back☺️.

Vladi, Suzy, and their team provided exceptional hospitality, offering great tips for local excursions. The accommodation was charming, spacious, and perfect for our stay. My children (13&14) especially loved the poolhouse. We had a fantastic time with a variety of activities, including fishing, swimming, bowling, shopping, and visiting sights like Baumwipfelweg in Lipno, Cesky Krumlov’s Mantelbrücke, and the ice hokey game in Budvar (IHFF Women's World Championship). We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for everything!

Lovely place in the country. We walked the 5km into CK and back and enjoyed the nature On route. The apartment was great. Bed was comfortable. You just need to be aware that to get to one bedroom you need to walk through the other which was something we didn’t realise from the listing. Overall a great place to stay

The stay was great. When we needed anything, Veronika responded right away. I recommend. Close to restaurants, shops, and entertainment.

We immediately felt very comfortable, super quiet and beautifully located in nature, great terrace with fire/grill and spacious garden. Unfortunately, only equipped with one bathroom and more suitable for a maximum of six people (we booked for eight plus dog, but only came as six). We can only recommend it!

Completely satisfied for us! Beautiful surroundings, silence, peace, beautiful views and great landscapes. The place was just like the photos, and I can't really complain about it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stepan's place and had everything we needed. The garden was really nice and our doggies enjoyed it a lot. Stepan was a really good host

Everything was good, just one suggestion: it would be great if a glass panel could be installed on the bathtub to prevent water from splashing out while showering. Without it, taking a shower is a bit difficult as the bathroom gets wet.

A great old farmhouse, with plenty of space for our whole large family with 8 adults and 6 children (had booked it for a family reunion). It is in a quiet location and surrounded by a lot of forest and greenery. The hosts are extremely warm, helpful and hospitable. It was simply a matter of arriving and feeling good. We were even invited to a family celebration! The children have plenty of space to play and explore on the extensive property. Highlights were the large trampoline, the barn with the long swinging swings, the horses and dogs, the many toys and of course the stream, which was used extensively for swimming and splashing due to the beautiful weather, while the parents could relax in the hammocks. The separate barbecue area offers enough space for everyone and is ideally located by a window to the kitchen. There is simply nothing to complain about and we would like to thank the hosts once again for the beautiful, relaxing time.

We stayed four days for a birthday party with about 20-25 people on site and this cabin was perfect for that. There are plenty of beds (more than indicated, namely 28), newly renovated bathrooms with rain shower, a super equipped kitchen, cozy rooms to sit, a large garden with fire pit and options to sit outside in the sun everywhere:) View is beautiful and the starry sky wonderful. Both the beverage service and ordering from the bakery was straightforward. The landlords are very accessible and likeable. What else could you ask for? We would come back anytime. Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying at Sara and her families beautiful place. They were a lovely friendly family who were very accommodating. It was a great first experience of Austria with a beautiful location. My children (5 and 2) loved every minute and there was plenty to do in the local area such as parks, local water parks and an adventure park not far to drive to as well as the river. It was a perfect location for attending the local SBAM festival in Wels. Thank you for letting us stay at your place and all of your recommendations 🥰 we hope to visit again one day ☺️

Very nice apartment with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. In the town there is a shop and a gas station. We wanted to walk in the mountains, we were always there by car. Small flaws in the place - I would have had a musty smell in the bathroom, the pots and pans were poorly washed and there was no vacuumed carpet that had a lot of dog hair on it and dog granules on the ground. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything great. Location, cleanliness, scenic surroundings... I'd recommend it!

Johanna is very kind person. Whole stay was a pleasant experience. You feel like at home.

When I saw the first picture, I immediately thought: "Wow, how beautiful!" - the holiday home with balcony was shown there. On site, we were accommodated on the ground floor, but even from there, we had a wonderful panorama. During our stay, there was a small problem, but it was quickly taken up by Judith and quickly resolved – the caretaker was even very quick on site. Our short stay was very nice overall, and everything was as described. The bed linen was a bit older, but it served its purpose. The location is very quiet, and the locals are extremely friendly. Thank you!

Very nice, especially Hauzenberg has plenty to offer. A granite museum, granite quarries, restaurants, ice cream parlors, playgrounds, swimming lake and many opportunities to do sports. Directly at the apartment there is a nice pool, a sauna with indoor pool. All in all very nice and recommended.

It was the second time we stayed at Anke's accommodation. We will definitely come again:)

We had a great time at Klazien's place. For two families with two children each it was perfect. One bedroom is the walk-through room to the game and living area, but that did not bother us. The young children (3) loved the box beds and the large (7) their plateau (the steep ladder was not an issue). Kitchen is well equipped, the play area is great and thanks to ping pong table, trampoline and pool you would not have to leave the house at all. We still made excursions and its well worth it. We highly recommend the area and house of Klazien!
