We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

We had a super stay in the house, large and spacious with fantastic pool. Malin responded quickly to all questions and check-in was very smooth. Recommended!

My husband and 3 kids loved our stay in Peter’s home in Näsbypark near Stockholm. The house was beautiful, we loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. It was a home away from home for our family. We were very close to the train station which took us straight into Stockholm for siteseeing. The neighbourhood was very peaceful and we felt safe there. We were within easy walking distance to amenities and a beautiful lake.

Incredibly nice house, and perfect for larger groups! The spa area, jacuzzi and pool were the icing on the cake!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in the midst of idyllic Skärgarden, with warm and helpful hosts and time for yourself and your family, this is the perfect spot. We stayed at this lovely accommodation for a week with our two children (aged 2 and 6). We loved the surroundings, the nature, the many excursion options, the proximity to the beach, and the easy bus connection from Stockholm. The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you need and includes many thoughtful details. Our week here was just what we needed to unwind and relax after a few bustling days in Stockholm. Very nice cottage. Quiet location. Deer look in through the window. Within walking distance of the metro (and shops). Close to a supermarket. Although we did our shopping at the station by metro immediately after arrival. Everything was present, including a hair dryer. Efficiently furnished. Bedroom is not so spacious (as can be seen in the photos) but for us that was no problem at all. The windows are easy to obscure. Lena (host) gave us tips and responded quickly to messages. A very nice place to discover Stockholm.

The location was great. Nice, peaceful and with an amazing view. Property is well maintained, clean and felt like home. Sara was an amazing host warm, welcoming, giving good suggestions and clear instructions. Would 100% recommend the property.

We stayed at this beautiful red house for a quiet midsummer celebration. The house is gorgeous and the hosts are always quick to respond. We had some problems with the code to get us into the house at first, but Adde helped us quickly and it all solved itself. The area is very beautiful and quiet, but as it was Midsummer, the neighbours had a loud party during one of the evenings - not part of our plans, but it is what it is. The day before and after were perfectly quiet, in our taste! Would definitely recommend!

Great location. The house is a -we think- beautiful example of Swedish homeyness. It is well connected tp the city center or other destinations in the countryside. The only inconvenience is the roadworks in front of the house. We had to lug our suitcases over the stone covered road and on Monday and Tuesday workers started offloading stones and digging at around 7.00 which is not really what you plan for when on holidays. But once the work will be finished the house will irresistble as a quiet yet well connected getaway address. Felix is in any case always very attentive, making him an excellent host.

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.

This beautiful home is highly recommended! It is in a quiet place just outside the city, but is very easy to reach by public transport or by the electric scooters that can be found everywhere. Mattias responds very quickly and we have followed several tips he gave. We would definitely come back!

Moa and Johan were incredibly good hosts, always available and accommodating. They cared that we as guests had everything we needed.

Our family had a wonderful one-week stay at Daniel and Malin’s house - the perfect home with the perfect hosts. The house and property are stunning - just as beautiful as in the photos. Everything inside the house was very well-appointed and in great shape - comfortable and clean bedrooms, great kitchen, lovely bathrooms, great electronics (WiFi, smart tv, Sonos home audio). The terrace and outside areas were great and we had numerous meals and family gatherings outside. The area is so tranquil and beautiful, with the stunningly beautiful lake only an eight minute walk away. We even spotted deers in the garden in the evening. Daniel was the perfect host - very helpful and responsive, and very generous in sharing everything their home had to offer, including their son’s toys and books, which my four year old son just loved. We’re already planning another stay here next summer, and cannot recommend this home and host highly enough!

3. Staying with Magnus - always a pleasure. No question remains unanswered, lightning-fast solutions for everything. That wasn't the last time. Be it extra tea, apples from the garden, whatever - Magnus is always there - without being intrusive. You feel very comfortable. This time with my wife for the weekend. It was fun and relaxing. Walks to the nearby beach, great restaurant on the beach, wonderful surroundings, parking right in front of the house…all good.

Lovely house in a quiet location very close to the water and nature with walks through the woods and a small beach but only 20 -25 minute walk into Vaxholm and access to ferries to Stockholm and the archipelago. The house is exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed and more. Henrik provided tennis racquets and footballs. There are 2 patios. The large one has the sun in the morning perfect for outdoor breakfast and the small one for the sun in the evening. The main patio overlooked the children’s play area and tennis court and we could see the children from the house. The house was ideal for us for a 4 day stay as it combined quietness activities and accessibility. Skywalk Vaxholm was only a 15 minute walk away. Henrik is a super host. He responds quickly and efficiently and provided us with all the information we needed. I would definitely recommend

As a family of four, we had a wonderful time in Madeleine's beautiful cottage! Her husband Michael picked us up by boat and then went shopping for groceries with us, including specialty recommendations; we couldn't have had a better start to the Christmas holidays. The house is exactly as described, as are the amenities. If we had any questions, we could always contact Michael or Madeleine. The view of the water is fantastic and the ferry ride to Stockholm is a highlight for the whole family. In short, we will be happy to come back and highly recommend this place! Thanks so much for the nice days. Was very warmly and cordially received by Harri and Grete, An apartment and surroundings where you feel right at home and comfortable. Everything as described, the decor is super cozy, everything you need is available and more. The location is perfect!! Very quiet and yet not far from Stockholm and the hustle and bustle - by car, on foot, by bike, the ferry and public transport are great. Supermarket is 10 min walk or subway (subway is 2 min walk) or by car it is 5 min. There are also restaurants for every taste nearby. The bed is super comfortable and cozy, on the small terrace you can end the day comfortably or enjoy the morning coffee. I was looking for a few days of rest and comfort - I found them with Grete and Harri. I explored Lidingö, Stockholm and the surrounding area by bike and discovered beautiful, quiet corners off the beaten path.

We fell in love with Marie’s home. It is a stunning island and a lovely spot for exploring Stockholm’s archipelago. A really special place. Communication was great. We swam every day. Marie helped us find a boat to hire which was very much useful for a more flexible schedule for visiting my family in Lidingö. We had our dogs with us and we enjoyed walks around the island and other walks in nature. Can’t wait to return next year! 🙏🏼
