The story goes back to 1847 where the first generation of our family started making original Gouda Cheese. We still make it the same way and we are proud of it. Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! In short, a great holiday home in this corona period. You are more than welcome.
