Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Blakeney

Fantastic! As soon as we arrived we felt instantly at home. Everything was absolutely perfect. Very little else to say - thank you for a home away from home

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

The Space is very clean and peaceful. It is well equipped and spacious. There's lots to do in the area and our hosts were happy to recommend places to go.

Lovely cottage right on the Norfolk coast path. Very nice kitchen and outdoor seating area.

We have just returned home from our second stay at the Bothy. Everything about the accommodation was as perfect as on our previous visit. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and genuine, and Julie and Graham were clearly pleased that we had decided to return for another holiday. The property was perfect for our needs - being comfortable, with excellent facilities and a location which is central for visiting lots of different places. All in all we can thoroughly recommend The Bothy and we would definitely return again if holidaying in Norfolk.

Great stay. Our 5 year old son loved it, especially the bunk bed. Comfortable large bed in the main bedroom. Nice and cozy front room. There’s a great pub a few minutes up the road. The food was incredible. Best burger iv had in ages and I love burgers. Very close to the sea with a stone beach. Only 15 min drive to wells next the sea which is why we booked there. Our favourite sandy beach in the UK so far.

Beautiful house with plenty of space. Perfect for us to catch up with family. Enough bedrooms for each couple and a bathroom on each floor worked perfectly. Beds were so comfortable and we all slept well. Plenty of room to sit and eat with the choice of the kitchen or the dining room. We loved the big kitchen table which gave us a lovely space to socialise and eat. Garden was ideal with plenty of seating areas as well as lawn. It was perfectly secure for our 2 dogs who can be escape artists. Perfect location for lovely long walks out along the quay! Lovely pubs and coffee shops within walking distance and a Spar for any forgotten bits. We ate in a lot and there were plenty of pots and pans. We were grateful for the full sized fitted dishwasher, it would have been nice to have been supplied with a dish cloth and tea towels as some things needed to be washed up. We did struggle with only 1 bin bag. We were not sure that 1/2 a bag was practice for 9 of us. Will definitely be back.

A perfect countryside cottage in outskirts of the beautiful Holt. Felt at home straight away in this idyllic location, peaceful and relaxing with shops and restaurants a very short drive away. The cottage itself has everything you need and a very comfortable bed for a good rest The garden has to be the main attraction, fenced off for the dog, and very well maintained. We spent most the evenings outside as it was so peaceful. Our Archie loved this space, and like us didn't want to leave! Thanks to Nick & Sharon for a truly amazing stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful rural home but within a short distance to local towns and the beautiful North Norfolk coast. We will be back!

Booked at very late notice but thankfully Ben got back to me quickly and was very responsive throughout the stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and more. Felt very cosy and relaxed there. Loved the working stove. Great spacious parking facilities. There’s a hotel about 10 mins walk away that serves good food. Perfect location for exploring Norfolk.

Kate’s place is as described but actually more spacious than it seems in the photos. Kitchen basic as described but fine for breakfasts- including coffee machine. Loved the quirky decor and interesting library. Perfect location for walking to pubs and restaurants - and coastal paths. Parking for a big car needs care! Private and quiet garden even though in the middle of town. Overall suited us well and we would like to visit again.

Ideal location for exploring Sheringham shops and seafront. Literally a minutes walk away. This ground floor apartmentwas ideal for my elderly mother as there were only a couple of indoor steps to negotiate. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Off street parking a major plus. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco very welcoming! Thank you Angie, will definitely be coming back ☺️

My wife and I had wanted to explore Norwich and the surrounding areas, so we booked a week in 15 Clarendon Road. Not only was it extremely well appointed and felt like 'home from home' from the outset, but all communication, both with the agent, Swift, and directly with the owner, Andrew, was pleasant, friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly look to book Clarendon Road again when staying in Norwich.

Just got home after a wonderful weekend in Cromer, staying at "A Stone's Throw". The flat was perfectly located and felt very homely. Had everything we needed for exploring Cromer and beyond. I had no problems finding a nearby parking space a ytime we returned back to the flat. Ali was quick in communicating after booking and also quick in response to a couple of questions we had in the weeks leading up to our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We've just had a 3 night stay at no 25 Studio and enjoyed our visit. Perfectly placed to explore Sheringham and the surrounding areas. The studio was just as in the photos, there was also a vase of fresh tulips which was a lovely touch. I loved the prints on the wall in the bedroom and kitchen and there were some interesting items displayed on the shelves. a tantalising glimpse of sea from one of the windows too.

This apartment is in a perfect spot. 2 car parking spaces which is a rare find in Norfolk! Blakeney itself was a perfect place to stay, park with zip lines/goal posts just over the road. Spar shop for all your essentials (please note the air BnB don’t provide a welcome pack. Purely some dishwasher tabs. So make sure you bring everything. We got a Morrisons delivery easy enough for evening of our arrival). Lovely few hotels with restaurants/bars for non residents. The White Horse was a fav of ours. Lovely quay area, perfect for crabbing (spar sells the supplies). Seal tours from April and great walks over the marshes on the doorstep. Apartment is the top floor of a house with its own entrance. Lovely spacious bedrooms, lounge, dining area and kitchen. Bathrooms a little dated and hot water tank so beware if your kids forget how long they’ve been stood in the shower 😬😆 Overall great stay, would def recommend. So many lovely towns/villages in close proximity or local bus available.

We were a family of 4 plus a labrador and the home was very spacious and light. The area was quiet and peaceful and as dog walkers, we enjoyed the local nature reserve. I would recommend Marc and his property, because communication was good and the home was spacious and clean, plus it had board games, which we enjoyed playing.

Stayed here with my partners family for the weekend, we had such a lovely time. We made good use of the pool table and the football table. It was very spacious with 7 of us and 2 little dogs. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time at Sam's home. Myself and partner stayed with our 11 month baby, 2 year old, and 3 other family members. We all agreed that the good aspects of this home were VERY good and enabled us to have a brilliant time. The garden, pool and outdoor shower were the definite highlights of the stay. Inside the house was clean and the layout and space worked well for all 7 of us. As stated above, certain features of the stay were outstanding which is why we gave it 5 stars but there are a few aspects we felt could really take it to the next level. Not being able to flush toilet paper, electric bin not working, big crack in top landing window, bizarre food left in fridge, freezer and cupboards (beetroot in fridge, cat food in cupboards), door handle broken in downstairs bedroom leading to garden, dishwasher full on arrival, blinds not rolling down/up properly etc All things that are easily sorted and would ensure the same high standard throughout.

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay at Ivor’s place! The house was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Sofas and beds comfortable, garden lovely and secure. There was really helpful information from Ivor about everything in the house and the surrounding area. My favourite thing was being so close to the beach that you could hear the sea waves from the garden. Thankyou Ivor - we would very happily stay again and hopefully will one day!

Our stay at this beautiful house made sure Christmas 2024 was wonderful! Three generations were so very comfortable, the house has everything you need and so much more! The grandson's adored the warm pool and the space the house provided. The adults loved the home from home feel, the top quality appliances in the kitchen used for Christmas lunch, the amazing facilities, the short walk round the corner to the lovely beach and the nearby pub where everyone was so welcoming! Couldn't have wished for a better stay.

my wife and I stayed the at the Hay loft for a short U.K honeymoon after the wedding and we honesty were blown away with the quality of the accommodation. so many little details were thought of, from the fresh jam and bread waiting for us to the beautiful details of the accommodation itself...my wife said she could tell it was designed with a woman's touch! we thought the "honesty bar" was a really nice idea as well! All the toiletries were even high quality and we honestly couldn't have asked for better! the accommodation was also on beautiful private grounds, and my wife loved saying good morning to the sheep as we set off out for the day! we only went to 1 of the pubs close by, the bridge, but oh my goodness the food was spectacular; and right on the water! We both agreed that we'll be returning for another visit, possibly an anniversary treat. thank you so much for making our few days away that bit more special by giving us such a beautiful place to stay!

Shelley’s house is amazing. Could be more perfect. It was the most equipped house I have stayed in. Among the vast variety of glass the the only thing missing were champagne flutes, but we understand these break easily. The beds were super comfortable. The outside table sn chairs were lovely. We had the best weather an were in the garden the majority of the time. So clean and the decor was high end Shelley if you ever consider selling you house please reach out to me as I would love to buy it xx
