Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Blacksburg

Great location! While watching the sun rise over the mountains, we spotted a herd of deer grazing in a field beyond the fence line. Our dogs absolutely loved it here! It’s safe to say, The Dairy Barn is now our new favorite stop. Tasteful decor throughout. Nice kitchen ware. Neat refrigerator with soft lighting, beautiful gas stove with clear directions. If you don’t feel like cooking, we Highly recommend Pizza Perfect on Main (7 minutes down the road). Excellent pepperoni twists & homemade ranch dressing. Thanks again Rebecca and your crew for the clean & cozy stay!

We were so lucky to have found the perfect place to quietly elope on top this magnificent property. The surrounding landscape was stunning to say the least. Having my dog-of-honor by my side and my soon to be husband’s best-boy was the cherry on top. I could never thank the hosts enough for their kindness and communication for making this a memory for a lifetime. We came in the end of May and once the sun went down the lighting bugs came out and it was the perfect ending to our wedding day like a private/silent firework show just for us.

Great place to rest your head! It had everything we needed, the toaster over and air fryer were bonuses. Plus toys so neatly out away, but easy to grab for my little one. The basement was so large and inviting! Our host was quick to respond and helpful as well. We would stay there again!

Brandon was an excellent host. We were moving from north to south and he allowed us to arrive at a flexible time due to the long drive. He was a great host and the place felt very welcoming. PLEASE consider staying here, thank you so much Brandon!

Such a cozy house! We loved the back porch and grill. The neighborhood was very quiet. Everything inside was spotlessly clean. The upstairs bedroom was so cozy and the sheets very soft and comfy. The place has everything we needed and more. Emily was very responsive and accommodating. Excellent choice!

Almost, Almost Heaven was truly like a little slice of Heaven. The scenery outside is beautiful. Inside is open, clean and very spacious. The hosts have truly thought of everything in all the fine details such as the motion activated night lights and having everything labeled and precise, clear instructions. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a quiet peaceful home away from home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Susan's beautiful victorian home. She was a great communicator and gave us detailed information to make things go smoothly. Her home was so lovely and well kept. It was beautifully decorated and filled with explanations and items that gave us a sense of the home's history. The grounds were will kept and filled will beautiful flowers and trees. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful, with rolling hills and tree covered roads. Our rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and linens. Susan thought of details that made our stay comfortable; electric fireplaces in each bedroom; Roku TV with easy access; many outlets for charging all of our tech; well supplied kitchenette & bathroom. We just loved everything about it and will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay with 2 adults and 1 small dog. Cozy experience overall. The section of the neighborhood it’s located in is walkable and peaceful. The house is older but kept in nice shape inside and has charm. Walkable (or short drive) to tasty restaurants. The beds, couches, TVs, A/C, and kitchen were all great. There is only one bathroom and it is small. Larger people may not like that, but otherwise no complaints! The hosts were fantastic. While on our drive the morning of check in, they let us know that they had found a little plumbing leak and were calling a plumber to fix it. A couple hours later they messaged again to confirm it was all fixed. I loved the communication and the urgency to get the repair completed in crunch time. They get all the props for being great hosts! Thank you!

This location at SML is great! Its close to everything including the water. I spent most of my evenings during my stay sitting on the dock and just enjoying the quiet and the scenery. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend renting a boat and just relaxing on the water. This was a great and complaint free experience.

Absolute gem. Both the location and Karen. I will always look to stay again anytime I’m in the area. The unit was so intentionally designed and offered such peaceful surroundings. There were so many extra touches to the rental and Karen was willing to go above and beyond when I thought I left something behind.

Our visit was quick but we enjoyed our stay. Next time we will bring food & drink and make use of the kitchen.

We loved it and felt right at home! We attended my son’s graduation from @RoanokeCollege and it was an easy drive! Mark was responsive and amazing the whole weekend! Highly recommend!! We will stay again for certain!!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

“Tranquility Cove” is a perfect description of our restful & relaxing stay that my husband & I enjoyed during Mother’s Day weekend. Mary Anne is an exceptional host who provided for all our comforts with every amenity that we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend at Smith Mountain Lake. The view of the sunrise over the lake & mountains along with the peaceful surroundings, access to the swimming pool & fitness center provided all that we needed for our dream-vacation-weekend. My husband & I have found our vacation destination at SML!

This was a great place to stay for our first time visiting SML! Beautiful views and very comfortable. Only 10 min drive to the grocery store, which is good for this area.

The condo was perfect for what we were looking for. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck overlooking the lake. The pool was great and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Great couples place with fantastic views! Short drive to restaurants and grocery. We really enjoyed our short stay here and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and we enjoyed coffee in the morning overlooking the lake! We didn’t begin to use all the amenities offered as we were there for other reasons but a free boat slip, grill picnic areas and the pool were definitely inviting.
