House holiday rentals in Blacksburg

We had a great stay at this home at SML! Having the pool across the street was so convenient, and it was a very quick drive to the community marina and lakeside amenities. The home was exactly as described and included all the necessary touches to make us feel at home. Would definitely return!

Great views! Hot tub and pool were excellent!

We had a wonderful time at Kristie’s. Comfortable and beautiful property. The pool and game rooms were so much fun!

We had three families vacation together that included 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub each day. Ruth made sure both were cleaned and ready each day for us. Our first night we had pizza delivered since we all had traveled that day but then we cooked dinner each night after. We utilized the crockpot and air fryer the most. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The back porch was beautiful and we spent a lot of time there. The afternoon showers were peaceful to watch from the porch. The kids really enjoyed the TV room. They were able to spread out and relax in the evenings after dinner. Grocery shopping was easy and very close by the house. We didn’t venture outside the house other to grab groceries. The kids favorite part was when Ruth and Cowboy Sam stopped by with his horse April. He let each kid ride April. It was a nice surprise! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Had a great stay! It felt super comfortable. We had the easiest check in, we’ve ever had on Airbnb which was a plus after a long drive. The rooms/beds were comfortable and spacious. The washer & dryer was great along with the hot tub. It was super easy to come and go with the check in. There is 1 place that’s mainly a bar with food & that’s about it for food nearby. i’d say that’s the only con but given the area of wv it’s understandable just buy groceries! had a great stay, would come again.

Our stay was great! The house was as described and looked like the photos. It's close to the amenities and was exactly what we were looking for. I Would highly recommend staying here and I would do so again.

I must say this was my first experience with ever staying in a Airbnb and wanted a change from a hotel and very glad we decided to give this a try. Tammy was an absolutely awesome host very responsive and a very nice lady. The description matches everything. Very beautiful property and very clean.

We had a great time staying at Dwayne’s place! Beautiful views of the lake in the evenings and plenty of golf courses within a 30 minute radius. Will definitely be back!

Very convenient location to campus.

This an amazing old home to stay in for all. Beautifully charming interior and great exterior scenery. You can walk over to Rising Silo for good food and drink whenever you want. It has great proximity to the Brush mountain trails and Huckleberry. A minute up the road gets you into town. Highly recommend for all returning to Blacksburg to visit or new folks exploring the area.

A great home and a great location. Easy walk to downtown. The back patio is amazing - serene and beautiful. We sat outside for morning coffee and evening dinner. We've stayed several times before and would again.

Right near center of Blacksburg and yet you feel like you're in a country cottage. Very comfortable home and peaceful surroundings. Worth the splurge for graduation weekend!

Easy to get to! Comfortable for all. 3 full baths made it easy to shower in good timing. 19 yr old twins enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs. Unfortunately our trip was cut short with car issues and arrival times. We paid way too much but that was not the fault of the hosts. Husband and son Arrived a day late and left a day early 🤦‍♀️They were responsive and helped with our car issues. Very friendly and live near which was helpful.

Have stayed here multiple times during large event weekends at VT. Completely comfortable and beautiful home away from home. Kelly has been a gracious and accommodating host every weekend. He and his home are second to none.

Such a beautiful little house and accommodated our whole group. We loved it had things for the kids so we didn’t have to pack a lot of toys. Perfect place to relax and have a little cookout! The host was great about responding to questions or issues! We would stay here again! :) also, the view was amazing!!

We loved Christine (and Athena's) place. It was very comfortable, well equipped, extra nice food and water touches- peaceful- would not hesitate to return. Athena was the star of the visit- so friendly and loving.

Special VT graduation weekend made even more special with our stay at Walnut Hill Lodge. The house was immaculate and well equipped for a family retreat. The mountain views out the windows and from all the surrounding decks were spectacular. We watched the farm dogs herd sheep from one pasture to another, and appreciated the beauty of the surrounding working farm. Michelle was a great host with wonderful recommendations for the local market and waterfall hike. Thanks for a memorable stay at your property.

We were in town for our daughters graduation in Blacksburg. This house was a convenient distance, about 25 min from VT and met all our needs. Its really a hidden gem if you are looking to house family who are coming to the area to celebrate or heading to a game at lane stadium. The living space is cute and tidy and the beds are comfy. There is a goreous deck at offers pretty views and is the perfect place for a glass of wine at sunset. And the owners were so nice and accommodating! I highly recommend this property. ( *My only caveat is that there are a lot of stairs to the house from the parking area that might be hard for an elderly person.)

We reserved the home to use during our son's graduation. It exceeded our expectations on every level. It is in an excellent location—an immaculate home in a beautiful subdivision just minutes from the VT campus—and there was plenty of room to gather with family. Service was fantastic! They were highly responsive, and check-in was a breeze—the most straightforward check-in process we've encountered so far. We highly recommend it to families traveling to VT to visit their students.  

Great little condo for our quick stay in Blacksburg. Less than 10 minutes to Virginia Tech which was perfect! Will definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area.

Karen leaves no detail out of this amazing place! From the snacks, to the journal with local recommendations, to the available books and games. It is so warm and inviting - truly a "HOKIE" palace! It is my Blacksburg "home away from home" when I visit my daughter at Virginia Tech. Wish I could stay longer!

Lindsay’s place was near and clean and close and convenient to the downtown and The college . Lindsay was very responsive and thoughtful . She knew we were coming in for our son’s graduation from Virginia Tech and she left a bottle of champagne and a box of graduation cookies ! So nice ! We would highly recommend!

A perfect place to reunite with family. Come prepared to hike, rest, eat, and relax. The property and home were so much nicer than pictures can show. Perfect great room for conversation while admiring the beautiful mountains and valley. Comfy beds. High end kitchen perfect for cooking together as a family. Jeff and Allie were great at communication and about attention to detail. We all said we’d like to return.

the house is in a great location and the private beach and dock were amazing! the house has rustic charm and all the amenities you could need. Henry was a great host - quick go communicate and provided lots of clear details about our stay as well as helpful information about things to do in the area! this vacation was a perfect mix of acitivity and relaxation. we would definitely stay here again!
