Our stay at The Summit at Peaceful Peak was wonderful! Jennifer & Travis are amazing hosts! Extremely friendly & inviting. They even welcomed us with music playing when we walked in. Super cool! Maple & Phoenix are an added pleasure! The view of the mountains is beautiful. The house is immaculate! There isn’t one accommodation you can think of that the house doesn’t already provide. The kitchen is a chef’s dream! We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Giant Jenga was fun, too! And, seeing the wildlife while we were there reminded us of home. We had an amazing weekend here & the kids have requested this be our permanent TN retreat! We absolutely recommend Peaceful Peak & hope to return soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our visit. We arrived after dark so the apartment was a little hard to find because we did not realize the listing was over a bar/restaurant. But once we found the door, getting in the rest of the way was a breeze. The apartment was very nice and well-furnished. The bar was having live music that we could hear it in the apartment, but the bar closed at a decent time so it wasn’t that big of a deal to us. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and loved the area.

Gina’s place was amazing! After being disappointed from Bonaroo canceling, Gina’s place definitely raised our spirits. Beautiful home and location! Loved the thoughtful gifts. Thank you again Gina!

what a very beautiful place nestled in the hills of Letcher county. just a few minutes walk you're downtown historic Whitesburg Kentucky. the home was very warm and welcoming. beautiful deck on the back cute little porch. very accommodating. will definitely be staying again.

My wife and I wanted to spend our anniversary away from the busy life. Adam's place on Iola Farms delivered!! It was so peaceful and private. It was everything we imagined and more. The access road is a little bumpy, but if you take it slow and enjoy the scenery, you won't even notice. There were clear instructions to get from the road to the cabin. When we arrived, it was easy to access the cabin. Everything we needed was there for cooking, sleeping, bathing, or just lazing around. There was even fresh charcoal in the grill like they knew we were going to cook steaks our first night. The cell service was very spotty, but the wifi was easy to connect to and worked perfect for wifi calling. There was an information book on the kitchen table full of brochures for activities and restaurants. The Mendota Trail Swinging Bridge was within view of the highest part of the driveway. Bristol was only 35 minutes away. We highly recommend this place for a tranquil retreat and we will be back!!

We loved staying here. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. It also had very comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen, and a big couch that multiple people could lounge on comfortably. Location was right in the middle of downtown and within walking distance to restaurants and the grocery store. Hosts were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Big Stone Gap was the perfect location as we visited the area state parks: Natural Tunnel, Clinch River, Grayson Highlands and Southwest Museum. We truly enjoyed Turkey Cottage and Diana’s hospitality. We took advantage of the kitchen to cook several meals and loved how thoughtfully stocked and decorated the place was. Would love to come back to the area to visit other local natural wonders and rest here in between enjoying the porch swing and mountain views.

Just book it. Don’t second guess, just book. You won’t regret your decision for one minute. This was the most beautiful spot. Peaceful and relaxing down to each and every detail to keep things simple yet memorable. Waking up with the side wall open is something you can’t find just anywhere. We fell asleep to the crickets, an owl, and the rain hitting the roof of the open side wall. A couple roosters on the farm and nearby were our morning alarm at 5:30(ish) so keep things closed up if you’re not a morning person. We were up and moving to hit the trails close by, but if you’re staying on the property there are some trails on the farm. Plan ahead and bring food to cook in the pavilion space. The host provides a lot of your basics, but ask questions if you’re unsure. She is very quick to respond and will help you be prepared! Very comfortable bedding/pillows for a good night’s sleep. We will be back!
