If you enjoy golf and great food take a short 4 mile drive to Langbrook Golf course. If you don’t feel like cooking Bedrock Cafe and Spirits is 1/2 mile from the cottage.

Welcome to our cottage on Dog Lake, a beautiful and serene lake noted for its fishing, paddling and wild life. Nestled between Toronto and Montreal, we are the perfect destination for those needing some quiet time while visiting the 1000 islands. Build a bonfire, go for a swim, explore your surroundings by canoe or on foot. There's lots to do. Or, do nothing at all. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

The Boathouse

The views are surreal! With over a 200 degree view, sitting on the couch seems like sitting over the top of the water. Located on a small protected bay, also home to two yacht clubs, you'll see boaters of all kinds. The fishing is fabulous right from the dock. Located on a quiet private road, you'll be walking distance a from restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, banking, the local library, and even a small winery! There is deep water dockage if you plan to bring a boat.

This upgraded historic cottage brings you to the river's edge in the 1000 Islands with stunning sunset views! It's located between two bridges. Tour local river castles, play golf, go fishing, or relax on the dock as ships pass by. Check boat slip availability w/ boat launch access when making a reservation. Personal kayaks & canoes are welcome. Wifi is available and it's easy to check in. Heat is can be provided during the fall and spring. No pets, please. Welcome to the river!

A great place to stay if you are travelling through the area or while enjoying all the area has to offer including excellent fishing, paddling and hiking area trails.
