Great spot to stay at on Caddo Lake! The kitchen is so stocked and had everything we needed to cook for the weekend! The host was very kind and responsive and checked in on us to make sure that we were happy!! Had a private dock that we used daily! Great stay! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home in Gray, TX, right on Caddo Lake. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and packed with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the private boat ramp to the hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and spacious covered patio, every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and enjoyment. Austin, the host, was absolutely amazing—friendly, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a top-notch experience. He’s put so much care and beautiful work into this home, and it really shows. It’s the perfect place for lake lovers, families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful escape with top-tier amenities. If you are wanting a nice, quiet place to escape all of life’s craziness, this is the place for you! We loved the quiet, peacefulness. It is far enough out get away from everything yet close enough to several things to do. The cabin was lovely and very clean.

Beautiful place! Very peaceful. We loved the privacy and the outdoor space is fabulous. This was our second time to stay here and we definitely be back. Special thanks to Sarah for all of her help!

Our friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Whiskey Barrel! The house was beautiful, super clean and had all that we needed! We took this trip so we could all “escape.” We definitely did that! We didn’t leave the property one time! This house checked all the boxes for us. There was so much to do to keep entertained. Pickle ball, kayaking, fishing, hot tub, darts, smart TV’s kept us entertained for our weekend. We brought our pups with us and it was nice that the front yard was fully fenced. If you are bringing pups, they will have to stay in the front yard (that is the only area fully fenced.) Perfect getaway house with everything you will need. Jennifer is a wonderful host and was super responsive! She even checked on us several times throughout our stay. Can’t wait to return!

It was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how much more beautiful it was in person than I had imagined. The cabin is tucked away by a lake, offering the perfect retreat for relaxation and a break from the everyday hustle. The space was not only incredibly comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a smooth stay. Every little detail was taken care of, from cozy blankets to a beautiful laid out robes– it felt like a true home away from home. And if I needed anything extra, the host was always just a message away, super helpful and quick to respond. The peaceful surroundings allowed me to unwind fully. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch or curling up with a book by the fireplace, every moment was pure bliss. I genuinely didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this cabin is perfect. I couldn’t recommend enough! I will for sure be back!

Was such a beautiful place to come and visit. The home was amazing. The lake was perfect. Caught tons of fish. Only thing me and my friends were sad about was not seeing a single alligator 😂.

Stayed in the Sproul cabin, very nice setup along the lake. Great views and local, loved the fire pit at night and all the provided wood. We were in town for an event at nearby Barnwell mountain so didn't get to spend enough time at the cabin, but looking forward to staying next year!

Angela and William’s cute comfortable house was a true home from home for us and we loved it so much we stayed a few months while my partner was working locally. We loved the homely touches, peaceful location and the verandas front and back - great indoor / outdoor living. Angela and William were great hosts and so helpful with any queries we had - thank you for all your help and as you know we are already booked to come back!

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

Host was awesome! The house was amazing to stay in and very nice views of the water. We would love to stay again.

It was a great place to stay. We came down from Mississippi for a weekend of fishing. Cypress View was spotless. Very close to the public boat ramp. Very well kept home. Highly recommend

What wonderful hosts and such a serene place to stay! Between, what I like to call the reflection/meditation benches around the property and the peaceful atmosphere… oh and let’s not forget the dogs! It’s absolutely great! Could not have asked nor imagined a better place in that part of Texas! When I’m back that way my I’ll be looking for availability at Cary and Debby’s! The property in Lone Star was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I really appreciated the property manager's proactive contact before arriving regarding check-in, and an issue that had happened due to storms in the area which they took care of before our arrival. The house is very cozy, and a comfortable space to share with family. We didn't get to take advantage of the bonfire area, or the outside patio as we were very busy being out there primarily to take care of issues with my Dad's passing, and his Celebration of Life. There were a couple of small things that I noticed that hopefully could be addressed easily, but I would definitely stay there again. The location was great, the surrounding area beautiful and peaceful, and the space was very comfortable :)

Jerry’s cabin was the perfect peaceful retreat—quiet, private, and just what we needed to escape the city for a few days. The king size bed was super comfortable, and we really appreciated how dark the room was —great for sleeping in! The well water takes a little getting used to, but it didn’t detract from the experience. Our little pup loved it too. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

Earnest was great to work with. The place was clean and exactly what I needed while working in Marshall.

This is a lovely place. The cabin is spacious and right by the lake. Bed was comfortable. Probably not much Kim can do about it but the Internet wasn’t good. The only other thing we would mention is that we felt a bit awkward that there was no door between the bedroom and toilet, only a curtain. However this is just a small point and overall we had a very relaxing and peaceful stay – just what we wanted in the middle of a busy driving tour. We were pleased to find there was a microwave we could use in the main building.

Alisha's cabin was perfect very cute decor, and very clean, I would highly recommend her cabin to anyone, and alisha is a great host seem to be super friendly and communicated well.

We had a great visit and the hosts were quick to respond and accommodated our last minute trip!

We spent three nights at Eve's cabin in mid-April. It was SO much more than listed, the photos don't do it justice. The house was spotless. LOVED the layout and it was decorated so perfectly, exactly as you would expect a cabin to be. It was just perfect for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and quiet. We spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet. We fished a little, but mostly just sat and watched the water go by! We will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect getaway less than an hour from Shreveport. Placed was fantastic and will definitely be back.
