Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Big Bay

We loved this house, clean, tidy and above all beautiful and in such picturesque surroundings. A stones throw from the beach and within walking distance of some great restaurants including the heart and melkies. We were fortunate enough to meet James and his family during the course of our stay. Wonderful and really helpful people. We had a fantastic stay and will no doubt be back again.

Stayed with Ian and Wayne for a month while undergoing a medical procedure. Host could not have been more kind and accommodating. Always asking me if I was comfortable or needed anything. The cottage itself is located on their property, but is very private, nicely decorated and has all the amenities you could ask for. Within a 15 min walk to shops, but to reach the beach you’d need a car. Ubers are also plentiful and cheap. Overall, highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

This house and Host Tanya were wonderful. It was perfect for my little boy who loved the jungle gym and the cupboard loaded with toys. The kitchen is stocked with all equipment you would need and a decent knife. Linen is clean and lovely along with Bathrooms all spacious and lovely. The out door area is perfect for dinners and relaxing. I would definitely come back. Thank you for having us

Personally for me, this property ticks all of my boxes. Spacious, quiet, secure, nice surroundings, garden, pool, every amenity you could possibly need, close to shops - 5 to 10 minutes drive in multiple directions and you will find a collection of shops selling everything you could need and also far enough from the hustle and bustle to appreciate the quiet. My go to in Cape Town if I’m lucky enough to find it’s available. Book early. Don’t hesitate!

BEAUTIFUL AND LUXURIOUS! Our family was very impressed with this home. Very modern, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. We can’t wait to return. Love all the en-suite bathrooms, beds are comfortable, great space to accommodate larger travel groups. The ocean view from the upper deck was stunning. We almost didn’t want to explore around because we enjoyed the home so much! Walkable to many places, safe, secure, and Odette and Bella were very kind!

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

My favorite place, the interior design is mind blowing, absolutely love the colors. The house is so spacious with balconies and rooftop.. Had a great time there.. Love the list of local recommendations with closing time. Host has always been very friendly and helpful.. Thanks a lot 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Super comfortable bed. Great location. Debi was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The host was super friendly and flexibel. Late arrival was prefect arranged. The appartement was super and well equipped. Very clean as well. Everything you need is on walking distance. We would suggest a normal double bed in the spare room because now it is more for a family with children then for 4 adults but that is a choise of the owner which choise I understand if you want to facilitate for families. The communication was very friendly and fast and when leaving the appartement for going home was done without seeing someone, very easy with a special key instruction. We want defenitively come back. Gerhard was an amazing host. Gave us a tour of the apartment block as well as the apartment on arrival. One of the best, most modern and elegant apartments we have stayed in. It's always great when a host stresses the small stuff for example milk & water in the fridge, bean coffee machine with supplies, aircon. Beautiful view to top it off! Perfect spot in the heart of Seapoint. Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants and the awesome waterfront walk. The apartment was clean and well thought out. It had everything I needed. Plus as a female travelling alone I felt very safe in the space and the building. Highly recommend.

This 2 bed apartment with double garage is in a gated secure complex of around 70 units and is in immaculate condition. It is in an ideal location and only a minute’s drive or a 5 minutes walk to the beach area at Eden on the Bay. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and it is tastefully furnished, equipped to an extremely high standard and specification and the decor is amazing. It has everything necessary for a comfortable stay including a bread maker, coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer. The apartment, which offers views of Robben Island and a partial view of Table Mountain, is highly secure, alarmed and has a safe. Immediately opposite is the Seaside Village shopping complex which includes a supermarket, 4 restaurants, chemist amongst others. It is easy to understand why the apartment owner Leon is rated a superhost. He is extremely likeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. He responded to and dealt with our minor queries extremely quickly. We will return!

Host responded super fast, we only booked very last minute, but he arranged access in no time. The complex the Appartment is in, is excellent. Nice & quiet, yet 2 minute walk to the beach front, shops & restaurants. Pool access is a really nice bonus! Would recommend this to everyone.

Stayed at Leo’s place for 4 nights. Timon was assisting us throughout. Very helpful. Always replied to our any questions at any time. We weren’t able to operate the heater, so he came down specially to show us and made a video also got an extra electric heater if we still can’t operate the manual one. Loved the place. It’s just perfect for 2 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with gorgeous views and near to all the restaurants and supermarkets We had a great time :)

Lovely stay near the beach in a quiet neighbourhood. Apartment is light, neat, comfortable and best suited for a solo traveller.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruth’s apartment. Charmingly decorated and beautifully sunny which made us feel right at home. A lovely little deck for early morning coffees and late afternoon drinks. Enjoyed waking up in the mornings to the mountain views from the kitchen and lounge areas and even enjoyed hearing the scholars being dropped off for school ( a school close by). Apartment was equipped with all we required. After a day out and about we loved returning to our little home for the week! This was our second stay at Henri's place. Once again we had a lovely time. Its peaceful and very centrally located. The apartment is well furnished and extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and the building feels very safe. I like the views over the city and mountain. Would definitely stay again.
