From the moment we arrived we were captivated by the stunning views surrounding the accommodation. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind. The fireplace added to the ambiance. We spent hours snuggled up with blankets, enjoying the crackling fire. Our host Cindy went above and beyond ro ensure our stay was perfect. From thoughtful touches in the cabin to quick responses to our questions. I highly recommend The Buchu Box to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. There were a few challenges during our stay, but the host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Welcome wine was a nice touch!

Karin’s house is the perfect place to stay in Betty’s Bay. Very peaceful neighborhood, a few minutes walk from the beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need and more. Karin is very reactive. We had a wonderful stay!

A group of friends spent a long weekend at the Whale Huys which exceeded expectations. The setting on the mountainside directly above the sea is spectacular and each bedroom has a sea view. The owners have catered for every need. Even though it was winter we had very warm weather and were able to enjoy the heated pool and the hot tub. One could spend all day taking in the panoramic view over the sea and watching the whales in the bay. We received a warm welcome from Rene on arrival and felt at home right away. We hope to be back soon!

We loved our stay, a little retreat snuck away in nature, while still central and close to all amenities. The landscaping was done very inteligently, creating such good privacy to the main road, framing beautiful vistas from the lounge and main bedroom without a need for boundary walls. The social spaces are very well arranged and the games room upstairs is such an enjoyable space. We were all.enchanted by the semi private path to the beach over the bridge and through the vlei, with all the birds and insects. We were visited by an otter and there were two hadedas that slept every night on the roof ridge. There is no TV and the main room upstairs doesn't have a door, which might put some people off but we didn't mind. The house is very well-equipped and we were very comfortable. The outdoor shower is lovely and the social spaces are very well organized, especially the enclosed verandah, which is perfect for an afternoon nap or a lively family meal time around the braai. Great place to stay with the family, walking distance to a pristine beach. The house is equipped with everything you need and the solar is a comfort to have as a backup. The area is nice and quiet, perfect place to sit back and relax.

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. We had a wonderful time at La Mer flatlet. Beautiful views and good accommodation. It was cold and raining, but the inside fireplace was the place to be to watch the waves crashing over the rocks in front of the house. Will visit again. Good value for money.

5-star stay. Nothing could prepare me for the spectacular views of Table Mountain reserved just for us on the rooftop. Very central in a great location. Brandon went above and beyond to ensure that we had all that we needed and we were able to leave our luggage before flying out. I wish we could have booked more days to stay here!

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.
