The Byre is a delightful upcycled 19th century listed cow byre on an old farm. The room looks out on to the farm courtyard. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Byre comes with a private composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside.Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.

Our first Air BnB, what a great experience, we were so impressed by Judith's thoughtfulness, lots of little touches that we weren't expecting, she set a very high standard for anywhere else we stay! Thoroughly recommend staying there, perfect little base with everything you need, parking was a little tight if you have a big car but that's it, no faults, very happy, planning on staying next year for definite. Thank you Judith, we relaxed and really enjoyed ourselves xx

This is a jewel in Berwick Upon Tweed! We loved it! Location is great, close to restaurants and cafes, a nice stroll to the beach. Margaret and Derek are on every detail, we appreciate these small treats/gifts that made our stay a wonderful experience. We had a rainy afternoon and there were plenty of table games to entertain ourselves in the flat. We decided at the last minute to go to Holy Island and the hosts gave us suggestions on how to get there (without a car) and what to do there. I highly recommend this place that will make your trip to Berwick a lovely adventure! Thanks Margaret & Derek
