Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

We both absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful apartment the view from the spacious balcony was truly outstanding .It is one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed In , Also I must mention the bedroom windows have mosquito nets which meant you could leave the window open at night . We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Our stay was simply unforgettable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Giordano and accompanied to our idyllically located cottage. The accommodation is furnished with great attention to detail – cozy, clean and with a view that takes your breath away. The tranquility and the surrounding nature make this place a real oasis. We would like to highlight the hospitality: Giordano was always attentive, regularly inquired whether we needed anything, and even greeted us with a homemade cake – that's how you feel welcome! For those who want to escape everyday life and recharge their batteries in the midst of nature, this place is absolutely recommended. We will definitely be back!

Me and my fiance have spent 9 nights at Enrica's place which we chose for its central location to lots of day hikes in the nearby valleys. Enrica was so kind, she even greeted us in person late in the night after a delayed flight. The Mirtillo apartment is quite spacious and has a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It comes with a double bed and a couch. We cooked at home often. You can see the hills from the windows and hear the fountain in front of the house. The garden is very sweet too, we enjoyed our breakfast there. Your best bet is car, but there is bus that operates few times daily. We would come again :)

Pamela's apartment was right in the middle of the beautiful town and 7 minutes walk away from the train station. The location was great for sightseeing and there were many shops and restaurants around the apartment. The apartment is clean, modern and looked exactly as shown in the pictures. Pamela is responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

It is a wonderful place of tranquility and beauty. I have never stayed in such a lovingly furnished Airbnb apartment. And the garden is just beautiful. Gian, Mo's son, stopped by every now and then, so we felt well taken care of. Since we were traveling by car, everything was also easily accessible.

Torno Penthouse _ Lake Como

Franceso was an absolute incredible host. He was extremely helpful, quick to respond, and provided lots of tip/tricks/recommendations for traveling around and enjoying Lake Como. The place was super nice and modern with all the amenities listed (for anyone worried about AC, it worked quickly and was more than enough to cool it). Outside, the view was absolutely stunning and it was so peaceful and quiet at night (it is a very quiet area in general which was a plus...absolutely no tourist noise or traffic). With it being in a quiet area, I do have to prewarn it is up on a hillside that requires walking up steep hills and some staircases (when arriving, you will definitely want to have some way of being dropped off at the door if you have large, heavy baggage), but it is worth the climb. :) All in all, I couldn't recommend this place enough for anyone, especially couples, who want a beautiful, quiet place to stay and enjoy on Lake Como.
