The Cottage at Oakland Green Farm

New Fiber Internet in 2024! A beautifully appointed two bedroom cottage in the middle of Loudoun County’s wine and hunt country. Situated on a 200 acre working cattle farm, you have complete privacy and yet are centrally located to all Loudoun has to offer. Guests are welcome to bring their families and dog or escape both at Oakland Green, a 10 generation family farm with rich Loudoun history. The host is just next door and will be happy to help plan your stay or leave you alone as you prefer.

The Cottage at Dunthorpe Farm

The Cottage is a restored wagon barn nestled against the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll enjoy quality, comfort, quietude, and pastoral views. We are a fully licensed and inspected B&B on a 1790's farm in rural Loudoun County VA. Each morning you are treated to a continental breakfast of fresh pastry, fruit sourced from local farms, and homemade jams which we quietly deliver by 7:30 unless otherwise requested. Note that the base price is for 1-2 people. Guests 3 and 4 have additional fees.

You will get to interact with many farm animals. We have a large playground, gas grille, and hammock on the property. Our place is close to Historic Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, Antietam, Wineries, Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, art and culture, restaurants and family-friendly activities are all within a short drive.
