Self Catering This 300 yr old Thatched Cottage has been restored and has some of the original features like the original fire place , original floors and old style furniture, we tried to maintain as much of an authentic old time atmosphere as possible whilst also providing for comfort and pleasure. Some of the rooms are small . The road outside the cottage can be busy at times you will need to take care going out of the driveway the traffic mirror will help you out .

I stayed for 2 nights with my Partner and Dog and had a lovely time. The place was quiet and peaceful and very comfortable. I lit the Hot tub and within 2 hours it was perfect temperature and only needed occasional top ups for the rest of the evening. Everything worked as needed and the facilities were excellent especially the kitchen supplies. The location is excellent if looking for somewhere peaceful while still being close enough to a few shops and takeaways that are a short drive away. This place was excellent for my Dog as he could be let to roam around the back garden and there was plenty of room to place his bed inside (He's a 40kg Bernedoodle) Would definitely come back!

This was one of the best - if not the best - Airbnbs I've stayed in. The space itself is modern, beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Rita and her family are next door, but they give you as much privacy as you need. It so happened, though, that our little one and their little one became instant friends, so we got to learn how nice and friendly Rita and her family are. Rita is a very thoughtful host. I asked about using the washing machine and she left some detergent for us to use. I asked about umbrellas since it was going to rain for part of the time we were there, and she left a few for us to use. The surrounding countryside is stunning! It was pleasant and peaceful to eat meals in the Airbnb and look out at the lush, green countryside. The playground on the property was so nice to have for our 7-year old. It kept our kid entertained for hours, as well as the toys that Rita's child shared with ours. I highly, highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Maeve's apartment. Check-in was very straighforward, directions were very clear and sent well in advance along with her phone number shoukd there be any issues - there weren't. The apartment is massive and impeccably clean. A couple of nuce touches were milk in the fridge, complementary teabags and a coffee maker, replete with a plentiful selection of coffee pods. The location was superb, you step out of the door into the middle of the downtown area, little time is wasted reaching the beautiful sights of the town or its great pubs, cafes and restaurants. We loved the town and stay, i'd highly recommend both. Also, Maeve owns the cafe below the apartments, Foodworks. We had breakfast there the morning we were leaving and it was superb. Farm to fork type of culture and everything was beautifuly sourced and cooked, extremely good quality. Definitely check it out. It was there that we met Maeve and have a chat with her, a very nice woman!
