As soon as you cross the threshold of the door, the safety and the cocooning spirit are felt. And we felt great there! This place is conducive to rest. And for good reason, everything was done with care: the welcome, the decor and the bedding (not the least) were great! We thank our host, Alexis, for his kindness. We will be happy to come back because this week spent here, was nothing but relaxation and healing. The maisonette is ideally located in this beautiful city. The Alpes Mancelles was a real favorite. Thanks for hosting us Alexis.

Two weeks in paradise! Maison UMI is a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its beauty, charm, and tranquility. The house is immaculate. A perfect mix of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Every room is bright, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a peaceful place to unwind. The pool was a highlight. Pristine, sun soaked, and surrounded by idyllic countryside views. We spent hours floating and relaxing under the blue sky. In a huge secure garden which our mini dachshund enjoyed exploring safely. The location is superb: nestled in picturesque countryside, yet just a short drive from charming villages. With Shops and supermarkets also close by for anything you need. Our host, Sanouchka, was exceptional, warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful, making us feel more like guests in a friend’s home. Bonus delight: adorable geese at the end of the garden added a touch of whimsy. Maison UMI isn’t just a stay, it’s an unforgettable experience.

A great weekend in a place full of charm, whether it's the cottage, the hikes in the forest where we went on foot or the villages recommended by Élise and Sylvain. we'll be happy to go back!

Francois made us feel at home straight away, his English was good although we like to communicate in French. He showed us his lovely home which was more like a lived in home than a Airbnb. Which made it much more homely. There were some lovely touches like goodies on the table for us. There was plenty of outdoor space although the weather was rather chilly. Francois provided good bikes which were in the barn next door along with a ping pong table and barbecue. There was a local village 2.5 K away with a fabulous Boulangerie, and the town of Verneuil sur Avre nearby which was stunning!

A place full of charm, surrounded by greenery and centuries-old trees. The views are beautiful and the environment peaceful. Special mention for the welcome: warm, discreet and very kind. Thank you Pascal for your welcome and all your attentions, the cake, the little surprises... we were really touched. I highly recommend this place and will return without hesitation!

The only small downside is the road not far from the house that disturbs the peace a little. Beautiful old house in the pretty countryside of Perche.

Justine's apartment is very well equipped, very well located, with a breathtaking view of the garden on the forest of Bellême and close to all the shops in a friendly small town. The bedding is great, which doesn't spoil anything! Justine is an attentive and responsive host.

a high-quality haven of peace. Birds, insects, curious cows😅, everything that cities don't have. A terrace for all times of the day and as a bonus, in the evening, the sublime lights of the setting sun that amaze us. a joy,🥰

We had a great stay at La Bretellière. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The environment is quiet and conducive to relaxation.

Charming house that matches the photos. Very spacious, it is perfectly equipped for cooking. Jean Paul and Françoise are very responsive and kind. I recommend it.

We had a great time. The house was very large, in a very charming rural setting, quiet and green. We had everything we needed on site and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. We recommend it, this accommodation is a gem!

We had a wonderful Christmas party at this lovely home! The peaceful environment, the typical stone house with its wood burning stove, the deer visible every day at the edge of the forest was completely what we were looking for! Complete disconnection. Very good bedding, top kitchen equipment, nothing missing. We can only recommend Caroline's house which in addition is a very responsive and friendly host.

Sarah is a responsive host. Home was pristine and very family friendly. We really loved our stay. Lots of space and well set up for multiple guests. The only draw back was lack of wifi which made communication difficult as foreigners.

A fantastic place to stay. Modern and bright, perfectly situated to explore the area. Everything you need for a quiet, relaxing stay. Marie is a fantastic host. I was delayed for 4 hours but she was happy to wait until I arrived and make sure I was checked in ok. Some nice towns and villages nearby with plenty of supermarkets within a short drive.

A very welcome stop on our cycling trip through Normandy. Very helpful hosts and we were able to cycle to the small but well stocked local supermarket (about 6km away) for provisions. A house that looks exactly like the picture!

We had a great weekend at Sylvie and Antoine's place. Beautifully furnished accommodation, very clean, we lacked nothing. We enjoyed a very nice terrace and a beautiful garden, also walks around the accommodation. Great location for visiting the area. We would definitely recommend this listing.

We had a wonderful stay at the presbytery with the family. The setting is idyllic, the house beautifully decorated, the beds very comfortable and the garden sumptuous. In short, everything was perfect and we can't wait to come back. Thanks to Jean-Michel's valuable advice, we even discovered crayfish fishing.

There are places where the heart finds a rest that the city does not offer, and suspended moments, woven with tender grass and rustling water. In Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei, in this cottage nestled by the river, time seems to stretch like a slow summer daydream. The mornings rise in the soft light of an ancient day, and the evenings go to bed under the discreet song of the foliage lulled by the breeze. There, every stone seems to carry the memory of happy silence, every nook and cranny breathes the simple peace of true things. The hosts, of rare kindness, welcomed us like long lost friends who we find with joy. Everything is care, delicacy, and human warmth. It's a stopover you never forget. If we could give Olivier and Maud’s house more than 5 stars, we would. It was perfect! The house itself has all that you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. Our 19month old son also felt at home with toys to play with and the wonderful garden to play in. Olivier and Maud also provided a cot which suited our son well. The garden and surroundings are incredibly peaceful. You are very close to nature and we recorded 50+ different bird calls as well as seeing a hare in the neighbouring field. The intermarche is just down the road and convenient for shopping, as well as a good boulangarie. The neighbours are very friendly. Olivier were very responsive to messages and also very attentive. We could not have asked for a better week staying at Frechatel and other Air B&Bs are now going to have a job living up to such high expectations! We would love to return again in the future!
